Currently, Turnitin PRO does not store submissions in a repository; only Turnitin.com Instructor Account offers the option to deposit your work. In either case, make sure to review the settings during submission and select 'no repository' if the option is available. This ensures no similarity issues when checked later.
@ thanks a million times for your quick response. One last thing, i noticed that AI detection doesn’t work for small sentences, I tested by mixing AI generated text and quilbot paraphrased sentences. If the sentences are short then TurnitinPro doesn’t mark them as AI Generated, however for large sentences it easily identifies them. Is it same for you?
@@jonesmir6437 Turnitin's AI detection typically requires a minimum of 300 words to analyze effectively. Small sentences will not provide enough data for accurate detection. You can read more here: guides.turnitin.com/hc/en-us/articles/28234943089933-File-requirements-for-an-AI-writing-report
@@curiouswithemma awesome,awesome.. one more thing, TURNITINPRO is showing AI Detection results as “*%”, what does that mean? I submitted a document (which was AI generated but paraphrased by me manually WITHOUT quilbot) but TurnitinPro shows it 7% similarity (which is okay) and *% (star percent) AI. What does this *% mean, is it an error or what?
@@jonesmir6437 Its not an error. It means there is still AI in your work but very low score. I explained the meaning here: th-cam.com/video/0xk9ILUsfbU/w-d-xo.html If you want to see the AI sections for *%, I explained how to do so here: th-cam.com/video/CmEn_Zqdojg/w-d-xo.html
Do you know if Turnitin PRO stores our checked paper into its database? Will it show plagiarism when my supervisor will check from his own tool?
