No. She was never Hindu by birth. She was a daughter to Muslim mother Jadanbai and A Hindu borne homeopath doctor Mohanbabu but he accepted Islam to marry Jadanbai .
My mom was a huge fan of Nargis. She was a great actor. She was Muslim by birth and stayed Muslim. Sunil dutt was a very decent man. A very decent couple. But poor couple had a son who’s life was messed up.
