Pretty great video! But, I'd just like to correct some misinformation.
Usually, most electromechanical sirens' chopper(s) spin at 2850-3450 RPM, since they usually have 7-16 ports, they don't need a higher RPM to get loud. For example, let's use the Federal Signal 2T22 as an example, it is a dual Rotor siren with one of the chopper assemblies having 10 ports and the other having 12 at 3450 RPM, this gives it the classic air raid siren sound effect you hear in Hollywood movies. If your were to take a 5/6 port siren (Such as a 1000T or GP3) and give it 6900 RPM, it would sound almost identical to a 2T22. In fact, the only sirens that have high RPM motors are often smaller sirens (Such as the model 2 and GP3) and some vehicles sirens, as well as Thunderbolt sirens. (Depending on the chopper level)
If you'd like, i could give you some tips of how to improve the loudness of the siren you 3D printed.
1: Make horns or a shroud for it, this will make it louder by having it push against more air.
2: Make the chopper design more efficient. You already made it a directional chopper, so that is good. Make a sort of cone like structure surrounding the middle of the chopper to direct air outwards, and put triangles on the ends of the Vanes.
3: Make it larger or increase the RPM, but you could make it louder by having it have 12 ports instead of 6, and reduce the RPM to around 3000-3500 to have a similar pitch but more power, which you can then use that power to make it bigger.

Thank You! I was pretty new to sirens, but the working concept of it amazed me. And I was sad that mine was not as loud as I imagined, so I realy appreciate Your tips! And in the future I will definetely improve my siren with given tips. Again thank You very much, because I always like to learn new things!

The siren that was on the website (with the set of 4 and 5 ports) is a federal signal "Model 2T", 2 horsepower, vertical air raid siren.

The issue is your siren is made of what is essentially plastic thus you yourself will have to use your energy to spin it up, if you look at any cheap ish hand crank air raid siren a lot of them barely use any energy to get it going because of the way they’re designed and the fact the rotor is machined out of metal instead of plastic!

This is identical to the guts of an open source .Stl air raid siren i got from thingiverse. Unfortunately, tolerances were poor, and resistance meant u broke the first cog trying to spin the final one. Too much resistance.

Hey! Well I can assure You that I have designed this air raid siren myself. I was interested in air raid sirens myself so I learned basics about them and designed this little siren. And I realy like that people react and comment on how to improve my siren!
