You are right, The Manhwa panels look very detailed and stylish, while the anime the same panels scenes look mid, the anime doesn't give the same badass vibe to certain scenes. the anime scenes only look good when there is some fight, in scenes where characters are just talking everything looks mid and simple in animation. While the manhwa both fights and dialogue scenes between characters is very stylish and have a badass vibe, in 1:05 of the video you can notice how well drawn the manhwa scenes are and everything feels more intense because of how much detail it have in face expressions, jinwoo with the shadow on his face looks menacing in the manhwa in comparison to the anime panel.

The manwha panel imo looks like every other panel the author does, and the expression is... non existent bro it's a blacked out face ffs, but in the anime we can see his face, and when that scene moves, it will be just as intimidating as in the manwha. If the anime scene looked like what it does in the manwha, it would be so bad.
