Like putting carplay in your '85 f-150
I just spent money on a new slide for my gen 3 so I could put an optic on, and now they have this. Lol
Definitely picking one of these up
I spent some time behind the COA, that glass and dot are nice. For the size of the optic as a whole, the window size is very generous and fits the slide very well
I hope they make one for GLOCK 44! Really we need optics cut slide on those.
Wow...very innovative of you Glock
Did you see Smith and Wesson re-released a few 75 year old
revolvers. Everyones pretty excited about that
🤣
That’s great so if your sight falls off, so does your rear sight
I hope you get to try one out
Eeeh. I guess this is exciting if you like glocks with giant mailboxes on them.
The sight is smaller than many other enclosed pistol optics, and has one of the best size to usable window ratios out there too
@ I hate glocks and giant brick optics but everyone has their own preferences. It’s good to have lots of Options.
Proprietary one-off special edition. Looks solid, though.
So did you two put up some side bets for the next event you both shoot at the same time?
Thy is one of my favorite people at matches.
Very cool.
I picked up an Aimpoint ACRO P2 for my Gen5 G19 last year, I'm immensely happy with the ACRO P2 performance and reliability. The bezel is indeed a tad big and there's no cowitness unless i'd get suppressor height sights. There's a lot of AIMPOINT hate on ACRO bc of pricing, however when mine still works after 10k rounds and a Holosun can't function after 500, well... you get what you pay for.
Ben Stoegers video on the acro p2 says otherwise…..those things have been breaking left and right…..but you get what you pay for right? Good for you that yours works tho
@@2A_TJThere were manufacturing defects with the sealing, it got sorted out a while ago, Ben had one sample go bad and made a big deal about it, but reality is most Acros are plenty reliable and really tough. It isn't a design issue, if you get yours sent to aimpoint, the one that comes back should be good to go
I warrantied 2 acro P2s, selling the third.
@ That's how views are made, making mountains from molehills. Aimpoint was amazing when I had some questions about mine that I didn't even purchase direct. They will fix any issue with any optic they sell, at least in my experience. My wife on the other hand grabbed a holosun that stopped working after 200ish rounds & we've played hell getting holosun to fix. Not a scratch on the optic, never dropped or even brushed up against something lol.
@@lucastonoli3256 wasnt just him. And people have been having their glass shattered unexpectedly without hard use. Having to send back a 6-700 dollar red dot shouldn’t happen in the first place but it did. The point I’m making is even your favorite optic has defects and issues. They’re not as duty rates as reviewers would lead you to believe. Everyone is giving their opinions based off a sample size of one but if multiple folks are having a 600 dollar optic fail or shatter that’s insane.
I'm not a Glocker, but that optics interface looks pretty squared away.
... In case someone wants to jump ship off that optic, I'm guessing Glock or the aftermarket will offer adapter plates for other footprints. The rub will be that the rear sight is special, so finding a cowitness sight will be a pain.
Every review talks about how thin the bezel is. Not a single review actually shows what the shooter sees or a comparison between the COA Aimpoint and a non COA Aimpoint.
Because this isn’t a review - it’s trade show coverage and it’s not like it’s easy to set up those kinds of shots.
Glock never listens to their customers.
glock isnt psa
Yawn, the .45GlockAutoPistol (GAP) of optic systems. Anyone remember .45GAP? Exactly.
Pass
I just don't get it. There's so many better pistols for even less money. I get the reliability but all of those are just as reliable. I just don't see it. Maybe 10-15 years ago but now I don't know
Still to whatever you like. I'm sure glock doenst give an F
Well, a package deal pistol+optic is the best way to sell into law enforcement agencies. Glocks are safe enough and very well proven, so cops tend to like them, so much so that many agencies went back to it after swapping them for P320 that performed rather poorly and had frequent issues.
Aimpoint and Glock teaming up is a great way to close deals with agencies, which is a huge market in the US.
If you see a pistol as a tool, the Glock is probably the best there is.
The Blue label Glocks are overall a pretty good value
Glock still hasn't been beat when it comes to longevity in particular. Other pistols are definitely just as, or even more reliable in some conditions. The issue is that when you start getting into high round counts, 30K, 40K, 50K rounds, Glocks don't generally display any major parts failures or degradation in function outside of what is expected. Other brands do. Glocks aren't just reliable, they're *predictable,* which means a lot to any entity or individual who expects to put exorbitant round counts on their handguns.
