also did you see the articles this week that hinted that tesla is saying FSD isn't really close to ready to Dmv but continues to hype it up to customers
@@KilowattAuto yes, 3 days ago, there was an article on car and drivers website titled: "Tesla Tells California DMV that FSD Is Not Capable of Autonomous Driving"
Check out this video from Tesla daily: th-cam.com/video/SgE1LaYy5EQ/w-d-xo.html. Rob discusses the emails at 3:44 and gives a different perspective. Let me know what you think! I think car and driver might have taken a simplistic view of what was actually said in the emails and then ran a somewhat clickbaity article.
Yeah on the straights it seems to do better with lane positioning. Curves can definitely get sketchy with being too close to the center. Almost like the car is cornering for race style driving.
is the car recognizing speed limit signs or just pulling speedlimits off GPS? cool to see it recognize a stop light. that and left turns sound like the biggest issues as well as steeper down hills with curves losing lines/missing cars in front of you when traveling down steeper hill at higher speeds
Yeah it’s actually recognizing them visually! My footage is not the clearest but when I talk about the speed limit sign you can see it displayed on the screen and it flies by real quick. I haven’t had any issues with it not being able to read the correct number.

Are you talking about the letters to the California DMV?

Very exciting and I appreciate it!!
Hello from outside of Hbg, Pa!
I never use AP on those 2 lane roads just because it gets to close to center line for my comfort.
