The founder of this company (Rocky Aoki) was an absolute legend. It's a great story if you look at the history. One of his kids is that famous DJ, Steven Aoki.
When I worked at a paint shop my boss called me Benihana. Nobody asked him for months why. He said he didn't even know what a benihana was, but he heard that they work fast.... so. 😂 props to the chefs that master the skills of speed and accuracy.
When I was a kid in the late 70's, I was walking through a redwood park and randomly came upon a small outdoor amphitheatre where Rick Springfield was playing, right before he got famous. I didn't even know who he was until a month or so later. Even though I wasn't into that style, I could see he and the band were really good. So I stayed for the show and as a guitarist learned what I could; in particular about playing and performing well at the same time.
