    2. 2-3 second rule (eye contact with everyone)
    3. Palm showing

Am I the only one that, as terrifying it may seem, LOVES public speaking?!

I've always enjoyed public speaking. I never understood why speeches in class were supposed to be a scary thing - I thrived giving them. Sometimes I was even embarrassed by how much more confident I was compared to my peers because I didn't want to be perceived as a try-hard.

In fact, Barack Obama is an incredible speaker his voice is incredibly engaging. I appreciate your exploration through his speech. The two main points that I agree the most is the pause and be specific. Specify examples is good to show to the audience some scenarios more concretely. Although, It must be well done. I mean, If you lost your speech in the endless example the people will lose their attention, in contrast to what you expected.

I remember the election of 2008 very well, I was very politically active during it. I remember at the beginning of Obama's run they often talked about his speech at the Democratic national convention for John Kerry, so you're correct in that this speech was an important flashpoint toward his presidency.

Mystery by always keeping the person on edge and have them have a question in mind, specific by literally using specific words e.g. "parents, wifes, neighbour and friends" instead of "everyone". These aren't mutually exclusive.

Illinoisan born and to this day. I was in Vegas staying at the Mandalay Bay during the 2004 convention. I waited to go out that night just to watch his speech. I remember first seeing his campaign signs shortly after 9/11, and thinking he didn't have a chance with current sentiment at the time. Then there was a shake-up with the Ryan campaign, and he was elected to US Senator. This speech was the first time I'd seen him speak, and on the national stage. I had a feeling then they might start to run him for President after I watched it, and it didn't even take till the next cycle for him to run and win. With all the FUD pushed during his election and presidency, looking back compared to the two he is sandwiched between, I sure miss him as our country's leader.

My Great Grandmother always said "You can catch a thief, but you can't catch a liar." Eloquence doesn't insure honesty. You don't need to work on motivation so hard if you're honest. Obama has studied hypnosis. Listen to the speech in Illinois the night he won where he uses an old hypnotic trick called "time distortion". Here's how it works, "Two years from now, you can look back on this night as the day it all began". I voted for him twice. Adam ate the apple too. Snakes have forked tongues. I wonder who that Seamus kid is voting for in this election. As my third grade teacher always told us, "actions speak louder than words". Words can come in two varieties, truth and lies.

I think it would be awesome if you did a video on professional wrestlers. Charisma is key to their success as they have to connect with a live audience to succeed within the scripted nature of the programming, and there have been multiple instances of a promotion trying and failing to make a star but their chosen performer not having the necessary tools. Some key wrestlers to focus on could be Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes ("Hard Times" is his most famous promo), Roddy Piper, Randy Savage, Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson, Steve Austin, and John Cena. A good example of someone with good charisma but poor tools would be Roman Reigns ("Suffering Succotash" is infamous) or even the aforementioned Dwayne Johnson(coincidentally, Roman Reigns' real life relative), who was given a poor-fitting character called Rocky Maivia when he first started wrestling and fans HATED him despite him now being the biggest actor in the world and loved by almost everyone because of his inherent charisma.

I have Aspergers. I don't know if Elon Musk really has that too, as rumor has it, but if he does, looking somewhere else while talking, is natural, and the only way, you can properly focus. If I'm forced to talk while looking into someones eyes, I'll appear impolite and stick to basic short answers. Listening and looking into eyes works fine. Just saying.. wouldn't be fair to compare. Ah well, let's do compare.. Obama is a master in talk and social excellence, but, more talk... you know. Elon Musk is the one who does the walk. Both shine in their respective field !
