But those tend to have similar scaling effects with gravity. Tldr: not all animals reach the physical limit of height for their species (like in humans only people with gigantism push that limit). So it's entirely possible to have a short species on a low gravity planet because of whatever reason. It's having a tall species on a highwr gravity planet that requires more of the body to be dedicated to supporting the weight of the body.
