The city at the end is "New Vegas"...for us Fallout fans that was AWESOME to see! ;)
Fallout New vegas is THE best of the games for "story" :)
Also Sinclair at the big table for "Big Mountain", is a character in New Vegas Dead money which IMHO is the very best computer game ever made (it's really deep, eerie and brutal), Big Mountain is another DLC for New Vegas a place where much of the insane and evil science experiments were started
The skull at the end is a Deathclaw, the most brutal monster in the wasteland, created before the war to be used against soldiers in trenches in China, but the monsters got out

Moldaver was definitely a villain. She raided the vault, married Lucy to a Raider who almost killed her and could have done worse.

So I didn't, but also wow really good writing. I also love the acting from both Ella and Walton in the scene where Lucy picks up the gun. So good. Great reaction guys! The code to activate the cold fusion was the release date of the original Fallout game. The town at the end is New Vegas, a favorite among Fallout gamers. How did Moldaver live? 2 theories. First if you watch the ending cinematic you'll see a sign with the name of the place, but also a sign for an establishment that adverizes "cryo suites" suggesting a possible way out. However, it seems too coincidental to me that Moldaver's conspiracy meeting place was the "Hollywood Forever" funeral home, and I suspect that she and her allies were doing more than meetings. I think the central point during your intro is valid. A higher moral compass is easier to maintain when it isn't challenged by the instinct to survive.
Lots of puzzle pieces put together by this episode. I think that what happened in vault 32 was a civil war. They found out they were part of a big fu**ed up experiment and all hell broke loose.
The question (among others) that I have, is whether Moldaver knew of the demise of 32, before she used Rose's Pip Boy to enter. How? Did someone leave and tell her?
This episode contained 3 of my favorite lines in the series. And that's saying something because the series is full of great ones.
In order of 3rd to 1st.
Lucy"s "Okey-Dokey" it stood in direct contrast to episode 1 where it was chirpy and spirited. Now it's filled with dark resolve and anguish. 😥
2nd was Coop saying "or you can come and meet your makers" This was not a metaphor, he literally means your makers. It gives Lucy a new purpose. Her purpose may still be to get her dad, but for an entirely different reason.
And the final and best line also goes to The Ghoul...who else? When out of the shadows you hear him say "you want another autograph, young Henry" WOW! did I like that moment! Hank was young when they first met. And now he has currently only aged 30 or so years. Where The Ghoul is around 250(?) or so years.
Hank is but a child to him in years and his addressing him as a child was a super cool moment.
Looking forward to season 2 😁😁😁😁

  • @TitusOfPavis

I enjoyed your Fallout reaction videos.
I believe what Norm and Chet found in vault 32 was the end result of a mutiny/revolt against the overseer. The rebels somehow discovered what was going on with vault 31 and Management. I don't think anyone hung themselves outside the overseer's office. They were either rebels hung by the overseer's supporters or overseer's supporters hung by the rebels. I think the rebels were winning and the overseer activated a failsafe which released a nerve gas in the vault killing everyone remaining.
As for Moldaver, cyro chambers are not unigue to Vault-Tec so she might have been in cryo. Also, cloning is a thing in the Fallout universe. In Fallout 4, we find out about (and use) memory loungers. The tech behind those could possibly allow a mind/memories from the original to be implanted in the "blank mind" of the clone. I hope we get more on her story in season 2.
I don't think Norm will go into the cyropod, at least not without checking his other options.
Lucy is now travelling with someone who can actually tell her about the last 200 years. It will be interesting if she learns she grew up watching his movies, or if she realizes that Coop's new trigger finger used to be her finger. Will he be The Ghoul to her or will she be the first person in a couple of hundred years to call him Coop or Mr. Howard.
Second season can't get here soon enough.

I can think of one good reason for Lucy to go back into the Vault: her brother is still inside, not to mention everyone else. And we know (though she doesn't) that Norm needs rescuing.
The only person I could imagine possibly rising up to help Norm is Chet, but Chet won't even know that Norm has gone missing because Chet is in Vault 32 now.
And also... I feel like there's a very good chance that Cooper's wife and daughter are in cryo in Vault 31.

From the corporate meeting Robert house was there he was in the game fallout new Vegas, so that's probably who hank is going to talk to and who the ghoul will end up confronting to ask where his family is. The worst part about what happened to Shady Sands is the fact that it was founded by Vault 15. The NCR was the result of Vault Tec and it was supposed to be the new government. The NCR spread through most of the western U.S. from the Pacific to the Colorado river. Their government was based on the U.S. government. They had their own economy, their own army. They had train lines cities and more. The NCR was Vault Tecs plan for retaking the U.S. They were rebuilding the country. Hank's actions killed thousands and ruined the very mission he was supposed to help with. The city in the end is Las Vegas renamed New Vegas. Its the only city that wasn't hit by the bombs because Mr. House CEO of Robco had an anti missile defense system built to defend the strip. The NCR came across it and they made an alliance with House to defend the strip and he could maintain complete control over the New Vegas strip.

If you have been paying attention, which I doubt about your reaction, then you will have noticed that there was still a big unknown present in the background at the big meeting. The woman from the ghoul looked at this person before she spoke. That means everything she said, she said on behalf of him. This means that she does not necessarily have to agree with what she said. Maybe it just looks like that.
Furthermore, Ghul's wife does not have to be frozen in 31, because as we have learned, there are several 3-man bunkers and in each 3-man bunker one of them is a overseer bunker.
Maximus is built into a villain.
The first step was to wish that something bad would happen to his friend so that he would become a squire.
    2. His desire is to hurt the people who hurt him.
    3. He watches someone die and doesn't help.
    4. Attempts at good deeds often go wrong.
    5. He is a liar and lies again and again for his own benefit.
    6. He loves power and feels unworthy without his suit.
    7. Almost without hesitation, he wants to kill his squire, even though he didn't even say clearly that he would betray him.
    8. He is willing to extinguish an entire community for his energy core. The only reason he doesn't is Lucy. And Lucy first had to persuade him not to do it. Even when she explains to him the consequences if he keeps the core, he says no. Only when Luzy says that her father wouldn't want that does he give the core back for her love and not because he has a guilty conscience.
    9. The only good influence Maximus had is Lucy and the two are now separated again and he gets power in a toxic environment with bad influence.
    10. He is not particularly clever and easily manipulated, easily influenced.
I often see borrowings from "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" Western.
    Lucy is the Good
    Maximus is the Bad
    Ghul is the Ugly

The problem with your release schedule is do they release it one week at a time when "you guys are ready " or when others are ready. Ya'll were late to the party, which is fine...but no matter how they release it, someone is always going to be playing catch up and viewing it later, which would mean that even then all the episodes could have potentially been released. If people prefer the one episode a week, just control yourself and only watch one episode a week. For myself, I have lots on my plate and prefer the full season release which allows me to ability to watch it at my leisure and move on. To each their own.

I’m guessing Hank is going to New Vegas, you see a sign at the end. It’s another settlement of survivors. Vault 32 figured out they were being used as an experiment that was controlled by vault 31, ie breeding stock for vault 33 - they killed there overseer and pretty much went mad killing themselves rather than be part of the experiment. Its unclear why they did this instead of leave the vault, perhaps they still believed outside was unsafe or simply realising there whole lives had been a complete lie was just too much to deal with.
