You guys know I’ve driven a lot of cars. But I don’t know why, the ‘350bhp’ in this car just feels violently fast. It’s so hard to explain 😂
There is only one thing to explain it mate. It's called gower power.
How does it compare to your M2?
Put a few 100 miles on it and you'll get used to it

Sebastian shvane Stabonkity and then a basic remap and decat puts the M140i at 450+ hp and does 100-200 in the 7’s
Sebastian shvane Stabonkity ah I see what you mean but it takes a fair old bit to get 350 on the mk5, I had a mk5 back about a decade back and I think I got something like 280 ish from stage 2 map, decat and filter, was nippy for what it was but that’s as far as I wanted to go with it back then as traction was a bit silly by that point. Car was eating coil packs like biscuits I remember.
@@brucewayne2397 Also depends on the GTI. I have a Pirelli edition and with no bolt ons just a remap I'm pulling about 300hp comfortably. One of the main VAG guys in my area is pulling well over 400hp out of pirelli editions and ed30s

GTI's are actually THE BEST! The performance, value for money and driving enjoyment are just unbeatable... In Australia right now, these MK5 GTI's DSG are selling for no more than $8000 (that's with the crazy 2nd hand market too) - awesome cars!

Good video and you look happy with the car. Nikki and Rtech took my Scirocco R to stage 2+ earlier this year and achieved 380bhp and 436lbft. 👍✅💣

That's what i said to the seller when i test drove a astra h vxr with 300+ bhp and ended up not buying it.
Never thought i would say that in a million years.
It was the torque steer & way over sensitive throttle that put me off.
Just feathering the throttle you could not set of steadily from junctions,a nightmare in traffic.
Owned astra's for decades and was disappointed the astra h vxr,maybe a poor example i dunno.
I am looking to buy a mk6 golf gti now.

My buddy's K04 GTI was a good match for my FBO Mazdaspeed3, my car was still a bit quicker but it made it so he could run mustangs and SS's a bit easier.
At 5:30 ur face with tht smile tells it all lol..
You should start to get exterior parts for it like a mad wing for it.

did you do any mods to improve traction? I can only imagine that the ESP light is flashing like crazy.
Powerflex Anti Lift Kit. The traction light is flashing but isn't restricting it much, its had a traction control 'map' which has made it intervene less aggressively
I'd love to see this race a few cars on a video soon! Convince me to buy a K04 for mine please, need some raw evidence of it mullering everything

PLEASE do a video on expense of the KO4 and the mods needed to go with it and what it cost you,to then give us guys a ruf idea on what we would be looking at spending bro,the map it’s self of only about £645 inc the carbon clean i believe,thank you bro love the build,now it’s my turn 😁hopefully I’ll see around 370 ISH and near on 400ft/Lb that would be sick,is the turbo of a ED30 OR S3 ? Crazy how my 2.0 tdi bkd mk5 has a stage one that’s pushing 180/190bhp and 400nm of torque. Derv is the way forward if you want high torque figures😂🚂
My golf 7 gtd 230hp and 460nm its fast enough but not in the rain 😂
