you might find yourself going through sway bar end links quick so square them off by welding on a flange. Also if you find your rear lagging behind the front get metal rear swaybar endlinks
No much cheaper usually as there's many more of them around. Unless it's something electronic like an idle control valve or other sensors they're generally a lot cheaper to maintain than W140.

Turn the brackets around, they will fit much more easy
They were already turned around so that they were closer to the front of the car
