Ya pretty interesting what a card lands grade wise with PSA.. Beckett’s grades really don’t seem to sway as much, usually right on.. Ive lucked out with the ofd psa, like huh, this isn’t a 10, but let’s go! Lol.. sweet cards regardless

For sure! Beckett is a lot more consistent in my experience.

Incredibly informative brother! The more you teach me, the more closely I look at cards that I had for whatever reason missed the smaller details. I appreciate what your doing brother :)

I have a YuGiOh starlight rare Stardust Dragon DAMA card that I want to get graded but I'm not even sure if I should. I pulled it from a pack but at the time I didn't have protection ready to immediately sleeve it so it was unprotected for a few hours. So it likely has some kind of damage. Also, the card came from a pack that has no protection so just the handling by merchandizers could have damaged it to some extent. I know grading is kind of expensive so I would hate to do it and find that the card is garbage.

If you can get it under a magnifier and a light that would help for sure. Also its $15 to grade so worse case you spent the 15 plus shipping.

I really love these videos. They really help me when I’m deciding what to grade. Those touched corners are hard to see. But now I slip them under a microscope and I can see the “fuzz”.

Also, do you think becket looks a little harder when they get a PSA 10 and is told to only break with a 9.5? Seems like they would judge it a bit harsher.

@@ComicBreaks great question! They might. I don't know. Beckett says something like this when it comes to grading another grading company's cards: They have to be 100% sure it will meet the minimum grade before they crack it.
