@@DatBoyComp I looked at a few pictures of the cabs and you can tell they're almost identical looking, the front end (hood and fenders) were very similar too!
@@HammerLane79 Yeah, Brockway by this time was actually a subsidiary of Mack. Brockway competed nearly directly against Mack in heavy duty truck sales. So when Mack started producing the long hood R-Model The development of the Super Liner commenced under Brockway. It was essentially a long hood R model but the hood was squared off to accommodate a larger engine and radiator. In 1977 Brockway was closed down by Mack following labor disputes that ended its production. While much of Brockway was liquidated, Mack continued further development on a set forward axle Super Liner, which entered production by the end of 1977. That is basically the story of how we ended up with the Mack Super Liner.
@@HammerLane79 That isn't the only time where they shared quite similar looks between the Macks and Brockways. The best example is the Mack FS700 cabover and the Brockway 457 cabover are virtually identical other than the badges and grilles.
Put that log trailer you had hooked to that Peterbilt 351 the other day please that would be Awesome of course it wasn't this awesome but it will look like a setup my dad use to drive. Put it with a grain hopper too please that would be Amazing.! Great video bro.
Ooh another idea question I can't remember it's name but that stretched out red superliner with the wild white mustang American flag trailer a reefer I believe it was got a combo mod of that you can drive? I'd love to see that one haven't seen it in years.
Just a little heads up if you want to know where enter and exite there is a scale house you got to stop going in and out they need to check your in bound weight and out bound weight so they know how much you arrived with and how much your leaving with so you need to simulate stopping next time. Just sayin.
Thanks Lloyd, that's a good question...... The mirrors in this game are terrible at times so it's very tough to see backing up from inside the cab....I think that aspect is easier in real life. But on the flip side it's very nice to be able to spin the camera around with a drone-like view and see the layout and plan my attack when parking which isn't possible in the real world!
@@HammerLane79it's not any easier using the mirrors IRL. Drive a 379 and most of the time I have to hang my head out the window. If you have power mirrors it's better because you can adjust them on the fly.

Mack liked the design so much they got Brockway shut down and took it all for themselves 🤣🤣
