"These b****es" lmaooo - wth??😂😅😂!!! Plus I got chills, AGAIN, after watching the clip that gave you chills lol. And how awesome is Evan Call's ost??? This anime is truly top-tier fantasy full stop. ❤
It's so awesome! This show has no reason to go this hard on animation and blows it away anyways cause fuck it. Slowly becoming my favorite anime of all time.
@@cheeseohIt doesn't mean it doesn't bother them to see the people working under them, with such conditions (which also impede's their direction and creations) Directors will always prioritize schedules that are viable for both ethical and artistic reasons
This clearly shows the passion and love the Madhouse team put into Frieren. Even that little detail of having the lightning shown first before the sound comes in is crazy accurate like how an actual lightning happens.
Very good reaction, Alana! You caught on that the necklaces had family crests. Some other reactors thought that's how Aura was controlling them. Also the way they animated Stark putting on his jacket was incredible and really not needed, but we sure appreciate it. Stark and Fern are the real deal. Especially Fern. What a bad ass.
Now you can see why Frieren trusted Fern and Stark so much and was sure they could beat their opponents. I was so proud of both of them ❤ This episode (and the one after) are so good, and I'd rewatch them so many times you have no idea! Actually, there is a very good reason why Lügner underestimated Fern (also Draht - the Demon Frieren killed last episode - did the same with Frieren) and it will be explained (but I suppose you already know it, considering you are way ahead with the reactions). The line Stark tells Linie ("My master's hits were much heavier") is so true: she can copy his abilities - yes - but she didn't train her body to "sustain" them on herself. Stark, on the contrary, was able to train while fighting constantly "the world's strongest Warrior" and could experience first-hand Eisen's power, so of course to him Linie's hits were not comparable to Eisen's. He only needed the confidence. Stark isn't really aware of how strong he is, and I hope he'll come to realize it soon. 5:00: I'm glad you noticed this! Madhouse is totally cooking with Frieren, even such a simple action is animated so well!
This one really got to me, because Stark despaired when he realized that the demon was mimicking his master, but that's just because he doesn't know his master was afraid of him. As soon as she said that, it was over.
Fern embodies the Bruce Lee saying, "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." Just wait though, there's reasons why Frieren has absolute trust in her and Stark.
They forgot it in the same moment when She don't show any signs of paint without a reason... So we and author just ignored the fact that her arm is pierced up
Eisen knew that stark was stronger, but stark didn't know that. He believed eisen to be stronger because he always lost to him. That's also why he thought he had no chance of winning at first when he heard that he is facing Eisen's techniques.
@@BrenoSantos-by3dvYes yes, stark had more potential than Eisen to grow stronger, he told that to frieren while explaining the incident about how he instinctively feared and attacked stark at one moment in the past, injuring his forehead.
Lugnar getting distracted by Linnie's death, is a curious thing: was self preservation in a sense of help won't be coming or did he actually care about her? Either way it sealed his death. Stark & Fern stepped up!👏
Stark telling Fern that it was normal for a warrior to be bloody and have bandages on them is so great for the last part with him going to town on Linie lol. Also I was never in worry for Fern.
Just so it's clear for people, all these guards weren't killed in combat by Aura. Aura took over their bodies, AND THEN decapitated them afterwards, so that if they "regain control" of their bodies they just die. Just goes to show how evil they are
Because her demon-killing magic compensates for her disadvantage in power. He could have just killed her immediately but he decided to clown around instead because he thought her mana was pathetic (even though she could've killed him in the previous episode if they weren't so scared of Linie for no reason). So, his arrogance + her mana suppression = dead Lugner. The speed advantage was enough. Once she knew she had that, she just methodically, robotically killed him, business as usual. The only thing that doesn't make sense is Linie not just killing Stark when he's on the ground. It really wouldn't take her more than a few extra seconds, and she doesn't have the "lol mana diff" excuse that Lugner had.
I'm sure many have said this already, but Frieren's title would be better as "Frieren the Ender" and not Slayer, as Sousou in japanese is referring to the end of something and someone/something that ends life, like Death and the Undertaker. I mean, it's the tittle of the show too: "Sousou no Frieren" which wasn't translated as Frieren the Slayer but as Frieren: the Journey's end.
When Aura says that Himmel is long gone she does so to taunt Frieren, that's why Frieren immediatly says, "That's right you demons are monsters after all", reminding herself that they cannot be communicated with.
linie just imitate eisen move, but she doesn't have the weight on her attack, so stark didn't get any fatal injuries. and it because she used eisen technique which used axe that depends on raw power on every blow. it would be different if linie just used different weapon that suited her physique like sword or dagger that she used earlier that doesnt need any power to slash the opponent

Hello! I recommend for you to watch Astra Lost In Space! It's an underrated anime and one of my favourite 💜
Literally after every episode, Millet at the end : AND YOU ALRIGHT? - NO MILLET ..... I AM NOT!
after a while, I started answering back. Lol
“I care ‘bout you.”😂
I AM NOT ... I HAVE TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER WEEK
The moment Alana started responding to the ending song, I was like....finally I got more friends in it 😏
millet making sure every episode
Episode 10 is the best for it.
10:51 the way she spins around the spear and grabs it, is one of the coolest things ive seen. its subtle but very immersive.
The way she fights,,,

Fun fact! This episode was directed by one of jjk s1’s main animators kouki fujimoto! Instead of working on s2 he decided to work on frieren.
Prob his best decision considering the train wreck of a schedule he dodged
Kouki Fujimoto PREWATCHED life itself

Moved from the most overhyped anime in history to one of the best. Good choice

Lugner: It's fine, I can win a war of attrition against her.
Fern: ...
Lugner: OH FUCK I CAN'T WIN A WAR OF ATTRITION AGAINST HER
When "Zoltraak" and "Fear brought me this far" be played in one episode. Evan Call is Awesome.
Lügner: Demon-killing Magic
ED: are you alright?
Only thing that tops it is “Frieren the Slayer” and the piano part from “A Sunrise Worth Seeing” playing in the next episode

Stark lightning strike is so freacking epic, i can't remember how many times i have watched that, the song playing is so FREAKING GOOD
I love that it happens pretty much instantly, you see the flash before he even says the whole name, so good
@@NekoJet91 9 Frames anticipation. 1 Frame Attack. Roughly 30 Frames follow-through. Perfection.
The name of the music is 'Zoltraak'. Fights are literally to the tune Qual wrote, he should be proud.
the last part, fern with the moon in background omg!!!! i love it
Love how much attention was put on everything. Yeah that was the most beautiful "putting on a jacket" animation I've ever seen.
I got chills watching that fight myself. Such a beautifully done fight!

One of my favoutrite episodes, this whole little mini arc in general is just so good.
This show is so damn beautiful. The animation. Netx ep is peak
This has to be my favorite episode of anime I've seen in at least two years
These 4 episodes minin arc was absolutely fantastic.... Absolutely understand the hype on this anime this was epic

A lot of people don't realize that Fern is holding her staff that way because her left arm is immobilized.
They forgot it in the same moment when She don't show any signs of paint without a reason... So we and author just ignored the fact that her arm is pierced up
madhouse studio was what mappa is now so ofcourse the animation is gonna be great
Everyone in this show is so much cooler than I'll ever be
Frieren did NOT like himmels name coming out of auras mouth 👀
Your comment about the quality of animation is spot on. Apothecary Diaries and My Dress Up Darling has great animation too.
Been waiting for your reaction to this one!
Ep9 goes "omfg Frieren the slayer hype" to "did we even see her this ep?"(yes, but barely)
It's a good thing it's so gorgeous
Not only cliffside, he killed a dragon with it (he didn't shout it but the visuals tell it)
ayy uploaded just when i was about to eat :D
looking forward to experience this again!
Fern so powerful look at her go

Eisen knew that stark was stronger, but stark didn't know that. He believed eisen to be stronger because he always lost to him. That's also why he thought he had no chance of winning at first when he heard that he is facing Eisen's techniques.
Stark is not stronger, though. Eisen was afraid of the great warrior he would become, not his current state
stark is nowhere as strong as eisen

This Aura survived from Hero of The South, that's why she overconfident to beat Frieren, and that's why she Lose

Frieren will show what OP means in the next episode hehe
Zortoraak she said calmly while kiling the demon
It's funny how Fern was prey at the start and after the first shoot fired she became the huntress. Lügner just danced at the Fern's palm all the time.

literaly phycho vs evil
When Aura says that Himmel is long gone she does so to taunt Frieren, that's why Frieren immediatly says, "That's right you demons are monsters after all", reminding herself that they cannot be communicated with.
Nope. She literally don't understands the point bc demons don't undestand this "human behavior"
I understood it to be, that Demons literally don't understand the point of bringing up a dead person since it's no longer "relevant" to the present.
