I'm an artist with a tablet and a drawing program-I'm not sure why I haven't tried making coloring pages before! Thank you for this inspiring video. I might start creating coloring content or drawing content.
FYI. Coco Wyo is a group of artists making coloring books, they are based in the Vietnam but their US presence is located in Wyoming hence the Wyo part of the brand name. They have recently applied for copyrights on most of their phrases such as "Bold and Easy" "Cute and Cozy" so be aware that any books that have those phrases might lose their books if the copyrights are approved and go live. They have also recently partnered with Penguin Books.
Great information! They can apply for copyright, but in my limited experience with copyright law, you cannot claim rights to a general word unless does NOT resemble the item that is being sold. For example, Apple can copyright the word apple, because it has nothing to do with apples, but the word cannot be used in context with other computers. Celebrities have also tried to copyright phrases, without success.
Thanks for your answer! You are amazing! ❤ It would be interesting to watch a video about all the apps and AI tools you use to create books and coloring pages.
So does one put the keywords into the subtitle? 😮 Ive been skipping that part, (subtitle) cos I wasnt sure what to write in there ...and the keywords? Do you put the same words into the keywords too?
Yes, and no. You don't want to keyword 'stuff'. KDP will recognize that, but if you're selling content, and the definition of the content happens to be the keyword, nothing wrong with that!
Great question! The images and graphics in Bookbolt are sources from Pixabay and Unsplash. This is the info I got from their site: Pixabay's license allows for almost any use of its images, including for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
I'm a little confused as to whether the profits BookBolt shows are actually profit? If she's publishing through KDP and Amazon is printing the paperbacks then the profit will only be a tiny fraction of the amount BookBolt shows?
True - the initial numbers are total revenue. A book this size usually costs 2-3$, and she's charging $8.50, so we could do the math and estimate a more accurate number if needed.
@@reneefclancyWith her prices she earn 1,95$ per book. I know because I checked it with KDP calculator. 2475 copies it's little bit more than 4800$ royalty per month. Still very good especially those brand has few books with similar royalty. Monthly 15-20k $ from all colouring books. They have own website, Instagram, TikTok maybe even TH-cam. They are selling on Amazon, Etsy and more. We can easily assume they earn at least 20k$ a month from all sources.
I have always gravitated towards the more complex and difficult. I need to try at least one simple book but the funny thing is the concept scares me because if I start it I will have to finish it and it may be pure misery.
@@jawadel8548 kdp is very strict on these issues. Check on Google. Ur not allowed to use words of gift, or hurry to buy. They keep updating their rules every week. U have to read all that in their forum

It's simple, it's not easy. Coco Wayo is a brand, she's an artist, she's got a definite and elegant style that does take skill to achieve.
Totally agree! Thank you for helping me clarify. She works really hard and has created a very unique brand. It’s an inspiration for all of us!

That's a great idea! Would you let me know how it goes? I don't think I'm very artistic, so I'd love to see your process!
@ definitely maybe I’ll create some videos though I’m not very good at creating videos lol. I will try.
@@SweetColoringBooks You totally should!

very interesting, I also saw yesterday her content. Im struggling with a coloring book but mine, I hand draw on paper and its scanned in my PC.
That sounds like a wonderful personal touch! I couldn’t do it without AI!
Thank you! I appreciate the information. Interesting video! 😊😊
Just a suggestion but I think the images you put on the cover should always be images that are actually inside the book to be colored.
I agree! I thought I did that? Maybe I skipped it - But I do agree with you!
Hi ! Thanks a lot for this useful information , I want to create my first colouring book , can you tell me in which app do you create this book ?
Hello! I use BookBolt for all of my book formatting - but I do go back and forth with Kittl for AI creation of pages as well.
Thanks for your answer! You are amazing! ❤ It would be interesting to watch a video about all the apps and AI tools you use to create books and coloring pages.
Hii everyone I have a question when you guys create coloring book you leave first page blank or the second one
Great question. I leave the second one blank, that’s usually the backside. But be sure to double check in your final proof!

What size page so I can get started?
There are a lot of options! You'll need to determine what kind of book you want to make, and then you can decide on the size. it's up to you!
Don’t think you can resell pictures from bookbolt? 🤔

Estimated royalty from what I put into KDP’s calculator is around $2.26 per book. That’s profit.

I totally get it - but it's worth a try!
Hm is this then a low content book or not?
This would be considered a medium content book
Thanks Renee! 😊
Glad you liked it!
this is amazing
Thanks!
Thank you for keeping your explanations simple and easy to follow and thanks for the discount, gonna give this KDP thing a go! ;-)
Amazing!
It sounds like me 🤣🤣🤣. It’s funny but not funny. The easier the better. I’m like you. I would not start with the easier one.
You know my struggle! 😂
You are not allowed to use the word Gift in the title. Kdp will block your book.
Thank you so much! I will make the correction ASAP!
@@reneefclancy your most welcome
But why it works for me my book it doesn't be blocked??
