I love the fact that not only people who caught that era but also people nowadays value this aesthetic, it marked my childhood so much, going from Win XP to Win 7 was a mind blow for me at the time
Around 2010 my parents started a buisness in IT, my dad giving tech support and my mom, a web designer and teaching women who had been out of the workplace (stay at home mothers for example) some basic computer skills for heading back to work in an office environment. I still remember all the stock images and the fresh design of their website. They eventually got an office (around... hmm, i wanna say 2012?) in a small building and my brother and I spent most of our summer there. They painted the place a really refreshing shade blue and they design of the furniture (some of which was actually from our home) was like the most fruitiger aero thing you can imagine lol. Very sleek and modern. I think a lot of it was from Ikea. They set up two computers in the little kitchen area where my brother and I played on Miniclip all day. I remember running in and pressing the power button with my foot, cookie in one hand, mouse in the other. The noisy computer running windows vista. I would also bring our DSi occasionally and I took plenty of pictures there. I remember my brother bringing a ben 10 omnitrix toy every now and then and I had my knockoff zhuzhu pet (fur real frenzy?). I remember feeling carsick from the drive up only to get out into the scorching sun and feeling relief as we entered the heavily air conditioned office building. Of course we would little to no time there once everything was done, but I remember my mom making flyers and ads to promote their business with that fruitger aero aesthetic still strong haha. Things had been going well but unfortunately a couple months in and they were late paying rent for the office space and the landlord was not too nice about it. My mom didn't tell me what really happend until recently. Apparently the guy went in and trashed the place. He made up some story aboit something else, I can't remember now. But what I was told back then was just that the place was robbed. And that was that. My mom never took legal action or anything. It was just too painful and she and my dad decided to just move on. They never even went back into the place. Everything we had in there was lost. And eveything they worked for was gone. We were struggling with money before their businesses, and then we struggled a lot more after their business died. But when I see and hear this sort of thing, it reminds me of seeing them work so hard, and their resiliency, my mom in particular. And of course it reminds me of having fun with my brother. They were really quite busy those days so we entertained each other. Ah those were the days.
Dude this is such an heart warming story, all of this was just so wholesome to read until that unfortunate ending I can imagine those scenes very clearly in my head. But at least those precious memories will never die, I hope everyone in your family is doing good nowadays including you thanks for sharing that amazing story of yours
I can relate so much to this comment, both the nostalgia and the pain. My parents used to own their own office too, i remember playing mmos and flash games on their computer and they used to ask me if they received emails, and i used to lie because i was busy playing lol. But one day everything changed and they lost everything they worked for with pretty sad consequences. But bad things aside thanks for sharing your story you made me rethink about my childhood, the summer days spent there playing on my psp, the days where i used to play cards with my mom during her free time, the days where i started learning on how to use a computer but most importantly, the days where i used not to have a single worry and where i thought moments like that were probably meaningless and at the same time i thought that we had all the time in the world....
oh to relive being a child, it feels like as a teen now nothing is real, but back then life looked so bubbly cool and felt like a cold ice cream in your mouth, very cool and exactly like this photo. The great smells of everything especially rain, and everywhere you went had a scent, everything looked real to the max and you embraced your surroundings living life to the fullest. Everything was great, it's as if that promised aesthetic of childhood has just disappeared as we have aged. Now that is my own childhood summarised for me. Live your life and enjoy the moment.
How is the guitar able to summarize every part of a good summer day? Like it simultaneously sounds like a summer morning, noon, afternoon, evening, and midnight.
takes me back to playing the wii or logging on to my bulky windows 7 laptop to watch youtube videos on a weekend morning where the weather is just right
This song literally embodies a lemonade or arnold palmer on a hot day. It also reminds me of a country club lobby or golf course like the golf music in wii sports.
My school had windows 7 back when I was in kindergarten in 2012 all the way up to 2018 me being born in 06 remembers fruitger aero and loved it the memories are a little fuzzy though I remember playing pokemon hg/ss on my DS back in the day fun times.
It feels like im boutta watch a psa with kids around my age, or one of those Saturday morning shows with real kids in them, low quality audio and 130p all around
This photo is exactly how this song sounds
I don't think the photo is how the song sounds, but the *song* is how the photo sounds for me
And tastes
Legend
no it doesn’t
"WHO PUT A FISH IN MY COMPUTER?"
this song reminds me of drinking a very cold and crisp ice water on a very hot day
You got me thirsty
So oddly specific but makes so much sense
Lime-flavored ice water
This song feel like drinking fresh water after brushing your teeth with mint toothpaste
@@howdoipickaname9815I whole heartedly agree with this specifically

I did..i m 1993
Atleast I have experience for while Nokia and windows 7.
Same experience as a 2003 person living in small Poland town, my dad used to have a internet cafe in 2005-2012~~, the vibes were immaculate
duuuuuude. I grew up with a gateway pc with vista on it, it was amazing
i did am 2002 i dont think that anyone who didn't have this aeshetics in their childhood would enjoy or like this as we 1990-2002 do
This photo and sound is what my whole childhood summarized is
Same
Same but only the good parts
For those wondering, the aesthetic is called Frutiger aero, it also has a sister aesthetic called frutiger metro
I think there's also Frutiger Eco? That one is more like Aero but more ecological
Metro was like a few years after
This sounds like booting up your computer after school
accurate
Damn that's so accurate
You're right !it's like playing computer games during student days
This sounds so refreshing, in a way i can't really explain
Because you weren’t alive for this era 😂
@@Daisy-uj2rt I was alive at that era, don't just assume people's lives like that unless you want to be deemed as a flat-out idiot, LOL

both Frutiger aero and frutiger metro has a sense of calm into it. it shows how the world is green and has no problems just calmness inside it.
Contemplating whether I should have this as my ringtone or not
put it as your ringtone *now*
That's such a good idea! I'm gonna do that as well
