Aesthetically 100x more pleasing than the old GMHS, and I love the throwback to the prologue at the end instead of the summit c-side room copy Gameplay looks a lot more fun too, although I could never get to that level of play. 100/10, would watch again
Yea though i think the red parts are a lil too red, they should've added some white and it would've looked even sicker. Still they did a great job though

Leaving an appreciation comment here cause this video helped me out with the parts of the routing where I got stuck. Amazing level, really felt like a satisfying closure to this masterpiece of a mod! Thanks to you all
Just finished it last week and holy shit it is amazing. I was also one of those people who thought this was completely beyond my skill when I was playing the beginner/intermediate lobby but the more spring collab maps i beat and reached the gm lobby i know i have to do it at some point. It may have taken me 193 hours, but I did it. Thank you spring collab 2020 team, you made a masterpiece.
Im really scared of the visibility of the maps personally, have done beginner + intermediate in 12 hours and gave a look at the harder gyms (couldn't chain ultras in 20 minutes of trying in the GM one, will need to try the advanced lobby to get the hang of them I guess). Got turned off by a few levels in intermediate too but still got them ig (the autoscrollers and water, not my cup of tea lol).
@@Ghajestis its more than that though . It makes you realize how far you have progressed since the base game and makes you think yea i passed these insane screens before you and now you feel like an a side. Its there to make you feel good
I like this level. Whilst I can tell I could never do it, it still is clear that it is possible and isn't just for tazes. It's also funny how you just through Theo into lava casually at one point.
Even though it's surely an improvement, some rooms still look quite messy. For example white + red, that would match only on Santa's head, however that's not really heartside's problem but the themes of mini chapter themselves. The most important is that the old first room doesn't exist anymore, it was horrible. 3:27 Madeline just lost her 4.2 bitcoins that were stored in a laptop in the backpack. Yeah, I stopped on the section of the the 9th level of A-side(I think? I actually can't even remember how the levels/sides work, it's been awhile) at the section where you have to start doing all that stuff jumping on and off of those floaty jellyfish looking things. Didn't have the patience/desire to figure it. Though to be fair, I didn't super love this game like many people do, but I can certainly how some do. I actually ended up buying celeste, cuphead, and hollow knight at the same time, and played celeste first. When I got that point, I decided I'd try playing cuphead for a bit, just because I lost the drive to do that section, and wanted to try out cuphead. Big mistake. I never went back to celeste(though hopefully I will one day.) The same thing is, the same thing happened with cuphead. I actually didn't realize cuphead was "just" essentially a boss rush game, so I was pretty disappointed, but I enjoyed it enough to get to the one of the bosses just before the train boss bear the end, and got frustrated/bored/uninspired, so figured I try out hollow knight for a bit. Super gigantic mega-mistake. I absolutely fell in love with hollow knight(may be my favorite game ever.) The vibe, esthetic, story(though very difficult to decipher without reading about it or watching a TH-cam video), gameplay, combat, etc. is just phenomenal. Can't wait for silksong. Luckily cuphead is one of those games you can go back to at any time and be back up to speed almost immediately. Celeste not so much. Funnily enough, I do the same thing with books. I try to always be reading one fiction and one nonfiction book at all times(or read one then the other), and I can't tell you how many times I got to a slow or boring section, and just started reading something else(just for a little while of course, lol), and before you know it's been weeks or months, and I've totally forgotten everything I've read, and either have to start off at the beginning, or just not ever finish it.
