Technically, yes, the GPU is socketed. But good luck finding a replacement at a reasonable price for the next few years. As of now the only way to get one is through Lenovo at replacement part prices. These laptops just aren’t mainstream enough to have parts widely available.

So strange I have the laptop and I only could order the A2000 GPU with the 600 nits screen. Little disapointed that I couldn't go to a 3000 or higher

It might also be worth looking into whether or not a gen 2 GPU will fit in the chassis. Would make for a better upgrade later down the line if so.
