I was really angry because I missed my connecting flight and had to stay overnight in Kuala Lumpur. It was an unforgettable journey for me. As i will be flying to Mauritius for a holiday, i have 2 questions. 1) do you need to wear a mask during the flight? 2) in the plane on the middle row, are there 3 seats or 4 (i really hope its 3 as, i will be travelling with my partner and daughter)
Thank you for watching and commenting on my video! To answer your questions, Air Mauritius doesn't require any face mask onboard, but they will still provide you with a face mask and sanitary wipes. Unfortunately, the middle row has 4 seats on the A330NEO (the plane I flew on). However, on their A350 (plane used for flights in Europe and south Africa), the configuration is different and 3 seats are in the middle row. I hope this was helpful !
flying is not an easy thing...sometimes aircrafts need a repair for an unknown reason....is it better to face a dreadfull situation in flight, everybody screaming and no chance to survive or stay 5 hours stuck at the airport and wait for repair. Even large companies with an extreme large fleet of aircrafts can not proceed to changing an aircraft within at least 3 hours....
Well I don't know about good service . I travelled Air Mauritius last November after a long time because I didn't have a choice . The service was very bad . The staffs was like they are doing you a favour if you ask for some anything. As usual some people had better service than some. It's a matter who you know . .
Thank you for sharing your experience! I found the crew pretty helpful and kind on that day, however, I understand that the staff's attitude can change in terms of your flight. I also have this kind of experience with some of the best airlines in the world ...

Delay was probably either they missed the flight slot due to bad weather, or technical problems on the A/C.

Yes the crew were waiting with us in the airport and they did not change for the flight.
