Dude, that guitar solo @3:55 with the Hanneman guitar is amazing! I keep replaying it over & over! Especially the Halloween sounding whammy part exactly @4:10
better if do not write here how many guitars I have bought due to watching Yours advices....but at the end of the day I still owe my BIG respect for YOU!!!
Hello Dan, Incredible Worrk. Absolutely amazing. I'm playing myself guitar for a long time and I'm really impressed. It would be great if you composed more songs like this. Very melodic. This song alone should have 3+million clicks. For me actually it would be interesting how you learned to play like that. Best Regards & Keep going!! Imrich
I think you are moving in the right way. Dimebag and Jeff would be proud for you. Excuse me for hot words but Heavy Metal will never die till there are people which feel it not in decibel or quantity of distortion but by their souls, and for which it is so significant as a religion, ideology, world look and life itself altogether!
Awesome song DMO. I single handedly bought the LTD JH 600 on your videos and advise last week even with Ernie ball strings! It looks like they are getting discontinued too so I had to grab one quick. The razorback is on my future list so I can't wait for the razorback vs jh 600 comparison video.
Just learning to finally play the guitar. Listening to you playing inspires me more. I've been a longtime fan of Metallica (83) your sound reminds me of Metallica. I'll be downloading to my phone:) Awesome! subscribed!
just so good to listen to and watch you when im looking for insperaistion or direction when im writing my own riffs and drums. what drum machine app or machine did you use? i recently upgraded to ezdrummer 2 from a alesis sr-16 lol, and wow what a awesome tool it is. well thnx for your vids im gonna just finally go buy your music becuase i wanna hear it without all of youtube compression.
Does anyone know how to create the exact tone? I downloaded the presets in bias fx2 but it is not the same sound if someone knows and explains me I will appreciate it.
Good song.I like the instrument setup I do the same things with my music and recordings that i create (or cover). i'll use a Dean razorback 7 or Dean V on Lead, Jackson V on Rhythm (just because i like the heavy tones) it does good lead too, then i'll use a 5 String Ibanez Bass which also has some nice tones. overall the music tones from the instruments sound pretty similar.
Yes, definitely. I wanted to spend some and get my songs properly recorded. It's been something I've been wanting to do for years but never had the time. But as time allows, I'll have more technical and comparison videos. They're fun to make and people seem to enjoy them.
All of your stuff absolutely slays any of the thrash instrumentals I've heard, way past anything by Metallica or Megadeth (the only bands I really like)
Yes. This is song is pretty much in minor scale, having kind of a sad vibe. As I had both signature models, I thought about dedicating the song to both. Dimebag Darrell and Jeff Hanneman died way too soon. Both were a huge influence on my playing -- Hanneman with the evil riffs and aggressive use of the tremolo bar, and Darrell with how hard he hit the strings -- that super crunchy palm muting.
dmometalguitar nice to hear; and I completely agree about their influential playing styles. quite unique player, both of them. It's just too sad about their early deaths; but I think that at least in Slayer, Gary will keep the torch lit.
That’s good man if it were the 80s and u we’re with Metallica it would have been one of the big hits. That’s how it is with a lot of guys out there, now the ones at home are better than the modern day bands sometimes.
Seriously bro. This is better than 99% of the music out there. You found the sound I like. A nice mix of melodic and crunch tone. Awesome!

Yeah! He's back! Since when did you have a Razorback?? I noticed you customized it with EMG's, too! Very cool musical composition!
I've had it for maybe a year. I got it used, super inexpensive. It came with the EMGs.
muito muito boa.
Nice job
Great song, as always :D I really like your style. Looking forward to that Dean Razorback comparison video :)
I can hear a variety of artists in your playing mate, fucking brutal mate :D

guitar tab please :D
I see some natural minor and harmonic minor licks, but I'm curious what other scales are you using in your solos? They sound really good;)
do u always hold the pick sideways like when u are strumming on the LTD JH-600
good,, i like,, up from brazil
great work man ! it's a masterpiece . may i ask you about the guitar gauge and in which drop are playing ? thank you
hy, since you are a huge fan of cool whammy bars, I'd like to know what you think about the Ibanez ZR vibrato
The ZR is an amazing tremolo system. It's kind of a hybrid between the Floyd Rose and Kahler - the best of both worlds.
thanks
do you think it retrofits into a cutout for a floyd rose? would be awesome to have my Jackson Rhoads with ZR
drumms sound like "becoming" of pantera...
great song! (Y)
the tuning is it default E ?
or is it an other tuning? that clear sound at beginning it´s so awesome.
I think it's standard D, but I'm not sure.
Dimebag Darrel would be very proud.
have you tried elixir strings? are they good for metal?
Good song.I like the instrument setup I do the same things with my music and recordings that i create (or cover). i'll use a Dean razorback 7 or Dean V on Lead, Jackson V on Rhythm (just because i like the heavy tones) it does good lead too, then i'll use a 5 String Ibanez Bass which also has some nice tones. overall the music tones from the instruments sound pretty similar.
Yeahhhhh !!!!!!!!!
Will you be making future videos on your new guitars?
Yes, definitely. I wanted to spend some and get my songs properly recorded. It's been something I've been wanting to do for years but never had the time. But as time allows, I'll have more technical and comparison videos. They're fun to make and people seem to enjoy them.
Nice work. What are you using for drums?
All of your stuff absolutely slays any of the thrash instrumentals I've heard, way past anything by Metallica or Megadeth (the only bands I really like)
Very catchy! :D \m/
Dean Razorback is hot 🔥
Is the JH-600 signed by Jeff?
You mean, Jeff's signature on the headstock? It's part of the paint job.
dmometalguitar Aha! Didn't know that. My JH-200DC doesn't have a signature so i thought it was the same with JH-600.
That melody is singing!!!!! Ahhhh woooo!!! Yes!
Listen metallica, this is how you do it
Can I use this?
amplitube preset please
The first thing that comes to mind after listening is To Live Is To Die II
Was the selection of guitars intentional? RIP to both Dimebag and Jeff.

Get a band bro! u're awesome!!!! This is just like 80s Metallica lml
Hey! It's Me! cept 80s metallica had a sound that made them sound like thrash and they kicked him out the band and its not here either.
Love you my name is shamron
First!
Rip dime bag and jeff
It's not fair ...this video deserves more views..its sad that there are untalented whores on youtube that get more noticed.
I wouldn't call it thrash it's a bit to slow, but anyway it's good art.
why does part c (0:39) speak sadness to me? :(
