Dishonourable TH-cam. You have been targeted as hunter like others with youtube followers a freebie (you owe them) to promote gear that undermines sportsmanship and the reason we hunt. While you said a disclaimer that missed illegal use, you went on not to defend hunting why not to use it and how it creates a fake experience but why to use it. You sold out your personal ethic and deerhunters out for a freebie free advertising for misuse. Hunters use private land to take an animal fair n square not as a cull excuse get antlers. You’re negligent to mention Hog deer don’t fall under same cull ruling. 👎
Like I said to ya on Faceboom, no skin off my nose if your nose is out of joint. An I kmow where I stand an fuck what blokes like You 'now' think I started filming back in the day as every other Knt rekon i was spotlightin them. 😂 .damned if ya do damned if ya dont. Yeah, I sold out. Who gives a fuck, why do you give a fuck? What a joke. I dont need to justify myself to you, As above..I kmow where i stand and I kmow where I live.. in the thick of them.. its 2023 old timer.... the ship has sailed . Im on the Sport Hunting side of life but i also see where they are a problem...an also well aware of the Law and Regulations around them. Have a good night an keep out of my business please.. HOOROO
@@HillDogTV Hilldog, your response appears dismissive, aggressive and defensive. It’s focusing more on dismissing the critic rather than addressing the underlying concerns raised and ‘where you stand’. If you’re going to post online expect public feedback. Acknowledging your admission of "selling out" in 2023 may lead to questions about compromising ethics for material gain, potentially affecting your future social content's authenticity and the image of the sporting deer hunting community. This is particularly significant since you previously expressed concerns to me in past about the destructive nature of those that use thermals within deer hunting, public or private land. While you mentioned in part in disclaimer, it's essential to consider not just your personal gains for a video, but also the impact of education, ethical choices, the future and perception. After all, who gives a 'f' about ‘hunting’ more responsibly than fair chase deer hunters who respect it the animal and its future tradition the most. Acknowledge culling is necessary. Your future content 2023 onwards has the potential to play a crucial role in shaping this sporting perspective hunting narrative outside of culling. Cheers
I honestly picked you for a bloke who wouldn't even hold any kind of thermal gear let alone use it for a TH-cam video. Stay true to your beliefs mate 👍
Yeah, agree. i actually hate it/them , I know where I stand with my beliefs and Doings. its about Defining the fine line that is a blur in 2023. i will take advantage of freebies whilst Youtubing though, i would never pay for a thermo/night vision set up :)
Seems like the ducks nuts for me...need a new phone and looking for a cheap thermal for here on the farm. couple of Q's if you don't mind 1 is it a good phone as in easy to use etc?, 2 what distance will it pick up fox and rabbit? cheers
im about to do some rabbit shooting in the next week, i will get back to you.. i jumped the gun a bit an got all excited an started looking for the deers- i primarily want to use it for dogs , foxes an such.. so il hit you back with this. The phone is an Android system. i may of forgot to mention in video ! oops!
I bought one Guardian last week and I had problems: battery lasted only a day, thermal never close! You have to go to the app and press stop, it gets hot, no id in incoming calls when you choose 4g network and 4g call, and the worst of all : CRUEL HARD INDEFERENT SERVICE!!!
Hi, good review, i want to ask you something please? Is the thermal camefa depending on the main 108mp camera? I mean if the main camera 108mp damaged, thermal also not working anymore?
@@enjoy8747 hi, no has multiple "lenses" on the back from what I can tell. So has camera, an also thermal an maybe also the infra red lense?! Hope that helps
I agree mate no place for them in State forests and public land where all game should be taken ethically. As a bow hunter I have encountered some of the new "hunters" who are too lazy to put in the hard yards looking for that trophy and thermals make it easier for them to poach
that is a really interesting Question!!! i think it is possible but i feel you need to watch the road more than the phone screen?? i think the quality of the thermal in the phone is capable! the refresh rate is good- the screen is large an i guess if not going too fast, it could work
@@HillDogTV I appreciate the answer. If I were to use it, it wouldn't be different than watching the speedometer on the bike. Or glancing down for a split second. Of course the speed wouldn't be high, we really have a lot of animals on the roads here in Hungary. If the contrast displayed between the body heat and the surrounding heat is easily discernible than its seems usable. I was just curious to have an answer from someone who actually had this phone in hand and not from the company ad.
Good review mate. As you said it has its uses. Having a phone and thermal in the one unit would be pretty handy for someone who doesn't want a dedicated thermal just to play around with. I bowhunt only and will be a useful tool to locate animals especially on farm land where the land owners want animals successfully removed not just some hunter constantly walking their land. Also makes the playing field abit more even when every 2nd rifle shooter has a thermal and takes out all the good stags
in 2023 there is alot of Closet "spotlighters" exploiting the Thermal/Public land thing. I am well behind the movement of the thermal trend but as a tool, as mentioned, handy on private land to target these "pests" every body raves on about. Im a public lander an love the Bush hunting, so not up my alley an not how i roll... but hey, review done an dusted :) cheers mate
thats right Dave, i actually use a Samsung J5 phone on the telstra network.... the AGM g2 i use solely for its thermal device an it seldom leaves the house block :) hooroo cobber
Sambar hunting in Victoria lost its prestige a few moons ago, it appears around the same time Social media boosted Egos. its a difficult one to discuss without being taken as extremely one sided or another, however "with the way things are going" it is very likely that there will never be any prestige regained for such awesome animals to hunt and they will continue to be killed by any means seen fit from "recreational" or "authoritarian" means. however we will as recreational members be forced to continue to pay more an more for this privilidge to actively persue them.
Certainly watched the video! and the sambar stag that was harvested with the assistance of this technology from a hunter that has prided himself with ethical hunting practices. This is the only reason I commented!. If the review & footage solely related to vermin control and did not involve our state/countries premier game species private land or not nothing would have been said. Not angry just disappointed I guess that even some of the best are heading down a very foggy road which could doubt the way in which trophy animals are harvested. But each to their own.

Perfectly legal in NSW & Deer are classified as pests. Eventually with the way things are going they will classed the same in Victoria 😅

Promotion of thermal gear by yourself is not the way forward for fair chase legal hunting, it just opens more doors for poaching and illegal shooting.
Did you watch the video?
