In a troop run by Alpha male or female they are put in their place and made to stop so.why can't she stop them. And normal monkey behavior is also if one shows signs of passiveness is interpreted as weakness to a monkey and the monkey will show dominance which will turn to aggressiveness and that turns to being attacked by that monkey. Monkeys live by a very strict, stern lifestyle or they will take over. This is why they attack humans because humans act like they are humans. Have you ever seen a monkey who was held as a baby to a big baby attack a human because it is now grown and still wants to sit on the lap. But the person does not want the monkey on their lap, puts the monkey down and won't allow access to the lap, well that monkey will eventually attack that human.
