From here in Cape Town, congratulations, Munster. Enjoy the celebration. I can't wait for next season. The URC is amazing and a privilege to be part of it.
It’s awesome having the SA teams as part of it. It will take a few seasons for us to build a good rivalry between the Irish/European and SA Teams. It’s hard to get too excited about about playing the Italian and Welsh teams (for now). Hopefully they will all improve.
Munster have been immense over the past few weeks and you can see the framework of how they want to play developed over the season. This is, I believe, is the beginning of a new and exciting stage in Munster rugby. The winning of this trophy will act as a springboard for them to start believing again. That's fundamental to be able to compete and believe you can win. Great for Irish rugby after the disappointment of Leinster losing. I feel more confident about our World cup prospect now.
A lot of my friends and family doubted Rowntree but I knew he was the man for this. He may have been born in Stockton but he's got Munster in his Veins!
At last. Someone talking about the great performance of Jack Crowley both in the semi-final and final. And Mike Hailey at full back. Another totally under-rated Munster player.
I watch all of the pods 🎙️ in the Southern 🌍 and Northern Hemisphere, 🏉 and seeing Lindsay wearing a Munster top is my podcast moment of the year!!! 😂🤣😂
Ahhhhh if only there had been a fly on the wall documentary of the munster season .... what a roller coaster that would have been :) On a Leinster orientated point (sorry!) the comment that Leinster should be sending their top team to SA during the season is 100% correct
The one advantage the URC has for me is I don't have to watch a South African team being beaten by an Australian or English team. At Test level losing to those two countries is extremely painful as well.
Lads, are ye joking. France are not going to win the World Cup. They will be knocked out in the Qtr finals. Its between Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. The French team will be watching the final from some cool vinyard in the South of France.
Pretty sure 99.4% of people were writing Munster off. Greg was one of the 0.06% that reckoned they had something special in them, and stuck by it all season

Nice one. What a season! URC humming along nicely

The South African teams have transformed the competition. Thanks!
Very well said. Thanks to all the SA clubs for making the URC such a cracking competition over the last two years.

Honestly gutted for Mike Hayley; has deserved to be in the Irish set up for ages now. He deserves to be in that squad.
It's great for Irish rugby having a strong Munster!
Great for irish rugby 🤔🤔🤔 they'd be lucky to get 2 representatives on the irish team!
Ya you said on every rugby podcast 😅
At last. Someone talking about the great performance of Jack Crowley both in the semi-final and final. And Mike Hailey at full back. Another totally under-rated Munster player.
Both were class!
Crowley's skills were 😚👌. Mike Hailey was absolutely incredible though - work rate and execution through the roof!

Ha! Brilliant. Thanks for the support!
Thanks guys. I'd a smile on my face throughout that. :)
Cheers Fergus. Enjoyed putting that one together today!

Yeah, let's send a fully loaded Leinster team south and get roughed up a bit!
Good banter
Munster player of the year IMHO is Mike Halley
Mike Haley one of Munsters most consistent players deserves a shot absolutely
Yeah, same for me. Kleyn not far off
Easily the best 15 in Ireland after Keenan
Kleyn for me.
Crowley is the new Johnny
Go wan Limunersterick!!!!
Just on the 10 depth discussion, correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t Jake Flannery coming back from Ulster
If so he’s been fancied for years
No, Jake extended his Ulster contract. Tony Butler is in his third year at the academy but feel they'll be short as Crowley looks an Ireland mainstay

Jack Crowley vs Ross Byrne to get the 22 shirt supporting Sexton in France?
Right now, I'd lean Crowley
You've got to stop saying Leinster are the best team in Europe when 2 years in a row Rog has beaten them 😮
Linday...a true Leinster supporter, bitter to the core!
Leinster lost away to the Bulls and drew at home with the Stormers in the regular season
Yep, that bumped with me, too, but think Lindsay was referring to the Leinster 'A' side. The big dogs!
Hodnett way better than Decan and Penny - especially when it comes to the big games.
Only issue (like Penny) may be his size
Parody Pat. Pure comedy is all this fool does.

Can just see them getting some favourable 'home town' calls as the TMOs going missing for big replay moments!
A none apologetic woman, such a surprise lol
These guys wrote munster off a few months ago..a shower of hypocrits
Pretty sure 99.4% of people were writing Munster off. Greg was one of the 0.06% that reckoned they had something special in them, and stuck by it all season
@@patrickmccarry9489 speak for yourself mate..did you ask 100 people.they're your make-believe stats.. never write munster off.
Munsrer cery lucky aa one mistakes by other s african tean u was upfor african team as Munster team insylting leinsrer
go home mary, you're drunk..
Could you translate that please....
Munster had 2 tries disallowed , one knock 5 meters out. Stormers scored from an intercept one maul. Lucky it wasn't 20+ points to Munster
Nunsrer are so jealous of leinster. The fans are sick.i dont like them
And I bet you don't like Munster either!
