Oh my gosh girl!!! You make everything look so easy... Is there anything you can't do? Being a widow raising my 3 grandsons and a disabled back, you are making me really want to start decorating. I haven't done so much the last couple of years cuz it's been really hard emotionally but it's definitely not fair to the boys...so thank you so much for the motivation and a big thanks especially for the encouragement! @@terrisouza2692 I know it’s not the same but my younger brother passed away 16 years ago. Us remaining siblings were intent on not letting our parents be overwhelmed for holidays so we made sure to honor our traditions but also start new ones to help us all process the grief and try to move forward.
The boys' tree looks like a skittles rainbow explosion. Such fun decorations and colors! Freya's pink tree is so cute. My grandmother loved pink and had a pink tree back in the early 60's. We always thought it was so cool.

Loved watching the kids getting into the decorating.
My oldest daughter was 7 and almost completely deaf, her tonsils were so swollen. Having her tonsils and adenoids removed helped with her ear infections and hearing.
Lucky kids...their rooms look great. A tip for cooking bacon. Put it on a tray with parchment. Throw it in a cold oven, Set the oven at 425 and bake the bacon for 15 minutes. Easy Peasy, bacon comes out perfect.

My Christmas tree was one of the 1st things I brought for our home when we just got it, we hadn't moved in yet and we had literally no furniture as it hadn't arrived from IKEA yet. I was totally broke and our flat is minuscule so it was £4.99 and it fits on the windowsill. It's a crappy tree with nothing to 'fluff' so I got 2 packs of fake tree branches from poundland (they are designed for hanging garlands) and I add them on to the tree and now it looks so full and posh!
I'll never get rid of my tree as for me it really represents the joy of buying our first home.

I always cut up my bacon before I cook it when I need bacon bits, it eliminates having to flip the slices and the bits cook more evenly. Your house is beautiful as usual!

Here's a bacon tip - use your kitchen shears to cut it into pieces and then fry it. Cooks in a fraction of the time and saves you all the crumbly mess later 🙂

Your appetizers are such great ideas! If I may make a suggestion, put a bit of olive oil in your fry pan before adding your bacon. Just add a tiny bit more to each batch. Girl! It’s a game changer.

I'm glad you're having so much fun! My grandson is a month older than Freya but he isn't really talking much. Not sure what's up with that but I understand as a mom being concerned with their babies! Your house is looking great! Keep it coming lol.
My middle grandson had ear issues and finally got tubes put in so his speech was effected too. He is now 12 and it's good. This was when he was under age 2.

Our youngest son had the same issues with his ears! He barely spoke at all. Then finally when he was 2 he got tubes and within a week he started saying words. (Now at 15, he rarely STOPS talking LOL) I had never heard of that condition before. I'm so glad she's doing better and getting chatty. They help a lot with preventing infections too. Thank you for the motivation today!!
Beautiful festive rooms! I like to see your kids getting involved. Thank you for sharing recipes. Potty training it’s not easy, but it was easier for me to train my girls than my boys. If she is able to pull her pants down, then just keep her on a Gerber padded underwear you can find at Amazon. If she can’t , then naked from waist down. Set a timer for every 17 minutes. Give her lots of drinks. Keep her potty in the area she is the most. I’m glad you found the solution for Freyas speech delay. Still take her to get evaluated to start speech therapy it’s better to start early.

Just saying...You can spray water on the shower curtain and put it in the dryer for 20 minutes and the wrinkles are gone. Also, on the windows you can put window clings of Santa and on the mirrors, too.
I bet the grape recipe would be so good with cherries that come in the jar. Use white chocolate instead of Carmel and then roll them in the mini chocolate chips. Thank you for sharing your recipes.

The rooms turned out so cute! I was surprised how many details you were able to add and it isn’t cluttered at all! Just the perfect amount to be festive but not overwhelming. The rainbow tree in the boys room!!!! Love it! When you first took it out of the box though, (trust the process)!! I only have one concern, the flocking on the swag on their bed. It looks great but flocking flakes off and becomes airborne. I have COPD so I worry about things being breathed in. Just a thought not a criticism. You hit this out of the park.

Freya is smart she will pick up speech fast
Great decorating! Realize that you can always access early intervention and/or speech therapy for two year olds. Early help with speaking can really make a difference and can give you good tips about what to do at home to continue supporting her. Most of the time if you do speech support early, she will not need it later in the school years. Just a tip.
Yeah im going to be talking to her Dr about that in her next appointment
