This is one of my favorite videos. I’m amazed how these momma cows “stash” their calf, go eat, drink, and then wind their way back to where they have left their calf. Number Eight is a great Mom, and Mike knows how to trust her raising her baby.
Quiet day but a FUN DAY Mike & Matt... Thank you both for your narration & humor... Hugs & Blessings to you both, your family & Jeff... GBY ALL 🙏❤️💙💖💖💙...💙 💙🤗✝️
Hi. Wow winter! When is it actually going to say goodbye?? It's cold still here and the wind hasn't improved much. It's great you guys can trade off. 🙏👍 Be well stay warm get some sleep eat well. 🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️
I'm good with no calving or explosions, being a farmer you can understand what it's like not having all that excitement. Keeping a close eye on the cattle is just something you have to do, good job Mike. I enjoyed the video, so thanks for sharing and you all have a great evening, see you tomorrow.
Matt was so funny instigating those cows to mob the Gator for cake..🤣 Glad to see a couple new babies (#8 is an awesome momma cow….even if she’s cranky to deal with, her instincts are spot on!). It’s obvious you’re taking great care of your herd through the storm, as they all are happy and content….fed and warm. Well done Mike and crew. Stay safe and warm y’all!
Calf 8 behind the wind break and well insulated in the hay - like you did, leave well enough alone. An engineering axiom I try and live by - perfect is the enemy of good enough. Same, same. Loving the 30 in 30.
. What awful weather your having but the cows are warmer in the lovely big barn. We dont have much snow in the Midlands of the UK England. Coldest is -3. Love your vlogs really Interesting thankyou. Looks like the storm is settling down now. Beautifull new calves and happy moms
Man Mike , you can't catch a break. Hopefully the Snow will continue 🙏. Hi Matt, good of you to come out and support 👍. I hope your Gloves didn't get lost again 😝. JO JO IN VT 💕😄
I heard it said once, that there was an ancient curse, May you live in interesting times. Bad times certainly aren’t boring times, I’d rather be bored with everything going well. Thanks for sharing your videos. Wishing you and your family the best.
I do enjoy these videos looking at all the cows and calves. Love the way you do not interfere with the natural way cows take care of their babies. I only wish more people were like you. To many people infer and cause problems. Then call the animal dumb but you and I know they are very intelligent. Dad had a mean cow she would paw the ground and snort if we got 30 feet from her and her calf. I can remember when she can charging my dad and when through the pen wall to get at him. And that was the end of the cow. Calf was bottle fed and ended up being out best cow on the farm. Also the reason why my dad was because us kids were getting older and started to wonder around the farm and he didnt want her coming through the fence after us. She was four years old. None of her calves were anything like her. I miss them days. Thank you for one of the top video I have watch.
Just another day of life on the ranch. Just because there wasn't any "drama," doesn't mean there's nothing to do. Having to check on the cattle and calves every 2-4 hours work in itself. The weathers bad, it's in the middle of the night, etc., at this time of the caving season, you have to be ready to help with a delivery or saving the life of a distressed calf. Thanks for all your hard work in keeping food on our tables.
I’m so glad #10 is doing good and that she has a good mama who protects her. Made my heart jump when she came running around that corner, reminded me of watching Jurassic Park and a dinosaur coming to save her baby. Good work guys!!! I’m enjoying going back and watching all your past videos. Can’t wait for the next video!!!
We don't need death and drama every day! I get that at work in the inner city school I work at! When I got to work today there was a man running up the street. With an ambulance following him waiting for him to I think pass out! Right in front of the school!
You guy's need a little break from babies..but, you still will be out there all during the night. It's hard for me to understand it being so damn cold there & here we were nearly 80 today in NC. Stay warm & safe. Love your videos! ❤🙏
Good evening. Congratulations on new calves. Trust cows to have when weather is coming in or during bad weather. Grew up on Wyoming ranches and it never failed. If there was a storm we had new calf's, foals, ect. Made life interesting. Birthing season was never boring. Good luck. Enjoying watching.
Nothing like a 4 legged freight train. Have had to run zigzag across fields and dive over the nearest fence over the years to avoid new mama moo’s wrath. Matt is funny… family friendly jiggly lady parts lol 😆
Always bring cake! We, women, love our sweets. Especially after having a baby. You can't complain they love you and trust you. I love the calves. Oh, by the way, many of us are farmers and yes a few midwives so lady parts are part of our regular vocabulary.
Yeah! I was so hoping there would be at least one new calf today. It is my birthday great birthday present plus it is my daughter's birthday,. So rwo calves for both of us.tell the cows thanks😁🐄🐄
We barely got any in town & it sort of looks like snirt today [snow mixed with dirt]... still windy & ugly cold 18° Hope tomorrow is better. How y'all feeling? The air hurts my face!! Why do I live where the air hurts my face!!! 🌬🥶🥶
Matt’s too cute. So glad he’s with you for help and give moral support. Good thing you all got back in the gator before momma shower up. Congratulations on all the new babies. Can’t wait for Bambi’s baby. Mauled by cows because of cake. Lol. Jeff having a chill day ? 👍. Did you get your hay delivered?
No No Mike!…No need for explosions or fireworks!!…haha….your videos are really awesome and shows us the reality in farming and the very wonderful thing about “ new creations” of life !!….amazing !!🤗🤗
Winter weather can cause stress on any cow. Especially, these ladies that are calving. Great job guys on your strategies that are helping mitigate any stress. I didn't see any stress on any one of those cows/calves. Looked very comfortable in the corner where you put the straw, LOL. Key to a healthy herd as your dealing with winter-
Love this video on how you're dealing with calving and bad weather I have seen many calves stuck in this kind of weather and it is terrible you feel so sorry for them because you don't know how long the storm is going to last I'm thinking of the people in central Manitoba where it's the storm for 3 days there are many farmers out in that area and many with cattle having young ones and I wish them all the best I wish you all the best too with your herd hopefully the storm will blow over faster for you have a great day
WEll, there, that was interesting! I feel like I am getting very familiar with your ranch. Love the open concept of a barn....And, Number 8.....she tickles me., YEs, she is very protective! The different personalities of the cattle is very interesting. How many cows do you figure are still going to deliver? It will increase your herd just great. Sorry you didn't get more snow for the water table.....but at least this little bit of snow will green up the grass a tad. Thanks for taking us along on your daily 2 hour check of the mama's! I really look forward to it, daily!!! Bev in Maine
That's funny that number 8 had a calf because I was gonna tell you that she was gonna be the next one to have a calf yesterday when I watched it and I forgot to say something
Mike, I have watched other ranchers on TH-cam and they don't have the rapport with their livestock as you and your family do. They seem to get trounced by them as you, for the most part get along famously with most of yours. On a side note; It was terribly sad to lose Blonde Cow (I have a T-shirt) however, I volunteer #2 as tribute. #2 seems to be stepping up into the forefront, causing mischief. When I saw a cow stealing cake from the gator that day, I thought, there's #2. Sure enough it was! LOL. I'm here to lobby for #2 to have her own t-shirt, I think she's earned it.
30 in 30 Episode #13.... "We're gonna need a BIGGER Gator!" 😁 🐃 2 new babies!! Nice!! I am glad you are getting some snow, but those temps of yours could be a little warmer! I am looking forward to seeing your hay fields producing some yummy food for your Bovines! Today's video was a nice quiet one, nice and quiet is o.k. with me! I do have one question (can't remember for sure if you told us this before) How many acres of hay land do you have? Until tomorrow.... Stay, safe, healthy, happy and WARM!
Uneventful is GOOD! Just a good day on the ranch - nope I enjoy watching the humdrum ‘boring’ stuff - I live in the city, this is all very interesting and informative. Hope the rest of calving is uneventful too!
Another great video Mike. Good decisions. Good choices. No need for explosions, lightning, or drama .....just happy that you haven't lost any calves ............ Keep moving forward. See you tomorrow.
Great to see things are going well, nice to have the Matt and Jeff back up with your weather. ❄ ❄ Hot chocolate☕ or a shot of something stronger for all 🥃! Would be pretty cool if Bambi had that baby on her Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈

Hi. Wow winter! When is it actually going to say goodbye?? It's cold still here and the wind hasn't improved much. It's great you guys can trade off.
🙏👍 Be well stay warm get some sleep eat well. 🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️
Beef & Pork box arrived today! Fast service. Thank you so much.
I love watching just checking cow! I love #8! She’s a great mom❤️❤️❤️
Dont you think we should offer #8 a name????
#1 is such a good looking calf. I love the white head.
All you needed was a little storm in the 30/30!!!! Great video!!!
You got that right!
Thick thick skin in cows im thinkin. Stay warm! God Bless the fam!
I'm good with no calving or explosions, being a farmer you can understand what it's like not having all that excitement. Keeping a close eye on the cattle is just something you have to do, good job Mike. I enjoyed the video, so thanks for sharing and you all have a great evening, see you tomorrow.
Hi guys glad to see you day 13
When the cows in the barn all pushed in for some cake...I was thinking about zombie s...
It’s always a good day when nothing major happens!
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Matt was so funny instigating those cows to mob the Gator for cake..🤣
Glad to see a couple new babies (#8 is an awesome momma cow….even if she’s cranky to deal with, her instincts are spot on!). It’s obvious you’re taking great care of your herd through the storm, as they all are happy and content….fed and warm. Well done Mike and crew. Stay safe and warm y’all!
All the ladies look super happy about their breakfast being brought to them in the shed and wind break ❤️
Calf 8 behind the wind break and well insulated in the hay - like you did, leave well enough alone. An engineering axiom I try and live by - perfect is the enemy of good enough. Same, same. Loving the 30 in 30.

There is a water tank that they have access to. Thanks for watching!
Matt you're becoming a good Rancher
I'll say it again - I love the intro. Its like Bonanza or something. Enjoying the 30in30. Cheers
"We're gonna need a bigger gator"😂
This is a good day on the ranch. Who cares if there's no craziness! You guys have had enough of that...Lovin' it! Glad ya got a quiet day!
Man Mike , you can't catch a break. Hopefully the Snow will continue 🙏.
Hi Matt, good of you to come out and support 👍.
I hope your Gloves didn't get lost again 😝.
JO JO IN VT 💕😄
Now we can say "Matt started it", lol! Thank you for your time, making the 30/30. Almost half way through.
Everybody’s doing great!!!!! Well fed and all calves but one staying in the barn…..Glad the one mom came back to see and care for her baby…
I heard it said once, that there was an ancient curse, May you live in interesting times. Bad times certainly aren’t boring times, I’d rather be bored with everything going well. Thanks for sharing your videos. Wishing you and your family the best.
I don’t care a bit for drama. I love peaceful videos.
With the cold behind this snow, I can see how important it is to be checking on the cows.
Good to see all the cows and calves are doing good, no drama today that is a GOOD thing.
I do enjoy these videos looking at all the cows and calves. Love the way you do not interfere with the natural way cows take care of their babies. I only wish more people were like you. Good evening to Our Wyoming Life and all others too. I pray everyone have a bless day. Congraulation on the new calves.
Quotes of the day...."You're an enabler, Matt!" and "We're gonna need a bigger Gator!" LOL!!!! Loving the 30 in 30!!!! Keep it up!
You know what would be cool, Mike? A video game based on your ranch.
Just another day of life on the ranch. Just because there wasn't any "drama," doesn't mean there's nothing to do. Having to check on the cattle and calves every 2-4 hours work in itself. Since I got my goats I have learned that I prefer "no drama" days. No drama days means everybody is alive and accounted for.
My goats look at me and say we are smarter than me and they are lol
We don't need death and drama every day! I get that at work in the inner city school I work at!
When I got to work today there was a man running up the street. With an ambulance following him waiting for him to I think pass out!
Right in front of the school!
Great video nice and calm.
Happy to see all is well God bless you all and stay warm and safe ❤ 🙏
Thank you! You too!
Thanks for taking us on a calf check.
I love how you care about the babies ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕

Lol Matt! Better count all your fingers!!
Nothing like a 4 legged freight train. Have had to run zigzag across fields and dive over the nearest fence over the years to avoid new mama moo’s wrath. Matt is funny… family friendly jiggly lady parts lol 😆
Always great to see Matt, and welcome back Jeff!
Mike has a great friendship with Matt. Glad too Jeff is back to help out. Love this channel.
Congratulations on the calves this year
Brrrr. Glad you got wet snow.
Great job Matt, in helping cows to understand the cake is still available in the gator.😊
Dan got it right glad everything is ok
Always bring cake! We, women, love our sweets. Especially after having a baby. You can't complain they love you and trust you. I love the calves. Oh, by the way, many of us are farmers and yes a few midwives so lady parts are part of our regular vocabulary.
down days are a good thing
Love seeing all the healthy calves!
Praying for more for you! Praying for a humdinger of a storm for you!

Glad all is going well Mike!! Real cold there, wow. Great job!!
Yes lucky #13 keep them coming, from the imperial co California.
It was actually good to have an uneventful day. We got to see what a great day is like that are far and few. Awesome to watch as always.
We barely got any in town & it sort of looks like snirt today [snow mixed with dirt]... still windy & ugly cold 18° Hope tomorrow is better. How y'all feeling? The air hurts my face!! Why do I live where the air hurts my face!!! 🌬🥶🥶
Snirt.. lol.. love it
I prefer just everyday life with no drama♥️
Airport said .9 inches of snow , I live off Gurley & 6th we probably had 1.2 inches of snow in the middle of town underwhelming to say the least .....
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL LIFE Y'ALL LIVE!❤️💞 LIVING YOUR DREAM!
An easy day during calving is a great day. Get rest when possible so nobody gets sick
Love seeing the babies sprinting around, getting in their kicks. They're happy, so are the Moms. A very successful day, in my opinion!
I'm loving these videos everyday, this is great.. when I get done taking care of my cattle, I watch you take care of yours.
What can be more wonderful then that!?
Matt’s too cute. So glad he’s with you for help and give moral support. Good thing you all got back in the gator before momma shower up. Congratulations on all the new babies. Can’t wait for Bambi’s baby. Mauled by cows because of cake. Lol. Jeff having a chill day ? 👍. Did you get your hay delivered?
Mike you and the other guys on the Ranch are taking great care of the cows and calves
Chill day......hahaha.
No No Mike!…No need for explosions or fireworks!!…haha….your videos are really awesome and shows us the reality in farming and the very wonderful thing about “ new creations” of life !!….amazing !!🤗🤗

Funny to say I am sorry you did not get a blizzard. Hope you get the rest you need and the caves arrived during daylight. Cheers!!!

The weather is so crazy there. But this was still a fun episode to watch despite no fireworks.

Uneventful is GOOD! Just a good day on the ranch - nope I enjoy watching the humdrum ‘boring’ stuff - I live in the city, this is all very interesting and informative. Hope the rest of calving is uneventful too!
Stay safe!
Hope everyone is having a great day! 2 days without seeing Marty 😢
Shes's chillin in the barn!
Another great video Mike. Good decisions. Good choices. No need for explosions, lightning, or drama .....just happy that you haven't lost any calves ............ Keep moving forward. See you tomorrow.
Save the drama for your mama! Hope calving goes smoothly.
Number 11 is my fav so far
Stay safe 💞
Great to see things are going well, nice to have the Matt and Jeff back up with your weather. ❄ ❄
Hot chocolate☕ or a shot of something stronger for all 🥃!
Would be pretty cool if Bambi had that baby on her Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈
Matt rattling cake around while you’re trying to get them out of your window. Now that’s quality TV!
