I would add two practical tips:
1) extend your spine in to revolution.
2) look at your partner throughout your fall. This begins a spiral movement of the spine during your high fall, while reaching for the mat, vs slapping the mat. You may then perform a "silent" high fall, even on cement.

The contact point, wrist or body point: becomes the centre of the circle that extends to the ground and which is the space in which you have to pivot your body in a circle or arc.
Also do not dive into the ground as that clashes with increased speed. Instead, rotate and fall allowing gravity to take you down. Only fall at the speed of gravity.
In Aikido, as soon as you feel a wrist lock coming on, that is the instant that you must take over the turning and purposely throw yourself within the thrower's force. If you pause, then your body will end up on one side of your wrist and your own weight left behind the turning lock will break your wrist.

Slow speed techniques do not requires such ukemi. Guys got use to jump in every occasion.
