You're basically on your own in the second chase, so its quite a miracle it's significantly easier. Guiding light easily just breezes through the turns, often faster than you can, so you just have to keep an eye out.

I experienced a bug in the dam, i tried jumping onto a floating object and while doing that there was the border for the animation, it then started pulling me INTO seeks slime.
Even if is this is a bug, I think it adds more of a challenge or else floor 2 will just be way too easy. If they havent nerfed the initial release, the game would've been fine i think. Because players would just be used to new hard tactics. Similar to other levels being harder than the first one floor 2 should've been hard in my opinion. In fact i think floor 3 should be harder than floor 2 otherwise the game will be bland. So keeping an eye in the direction is much more fun.
For me I can easily look both ways with a bulklight. Though this bug can actually happen in the minecart chase too. And it’s hard to see both ways. Especially in the outside caves.
The real issue is when it happens in the first seek chase where you need to know the direction and can’t tell by looking, if he disappears in the second seek chase use a light source, you’ll be able to see fine without guiding light.
Here is a tip for second seek chase my friend told me, if you have vitamins you should use it, because guiding light leaves you at second seek and vitamins give you a chance to not die if you mess up
I got that too, but then I the first seek chase. But I think it's just a bug they just add on purpose because maybe it means it doesn't matter where you go because somehow I also got the right direction. Still though, I want it fixed because it's scary and you think your run is already ruined

the guiding light that actually guides you and the one at the door are different guiding lights. (don’t ask me, i have no idea either.) and i think something was wrong with that room so the generation was a bit delayed, causing guiding light not spawning properly. (this is just an assumption, no idea what actually happened.)

Use your flashlight to see the dead-ends more clearly. If you make a mistake, use your vitamins if you have them.
If this ever happens again just use your flashlight or and light besides the glow sticks it works for me every time

i assume the game fails to load the guiding light for a specific room for whatever reason sometimes, because this only happens for 1 room.
