Nice. I like the SVR. They do the best Christmas train. Bridgnorth (and quite a lot of other places) was where I was a community nurse for several years. It was a nice patch.

Sorry to be 'that guy" but 1501 isn''t a prairie tank, she's a pannier tank. The class was deisgned by Hawksworth primarily for carriage shuinting at Paddington (I believe) and is unique amongst GWR locos in that it has outside walschaerts valve gear as opposed to Stephenson's valvue gear between the frames as for everything from the original panniers tkings. Hope that's kind of interesting??

Brilliant video Jenny, I visited the Severn Valley Railway for their Autumn steam gala last year and I can safely say it's one I'll visit again. I also ought to spend more time at Bridgenorth when I'm next there.
