When I feel worried, confused, concerned or when there is a battle in my mind or I want a bigger picture in any situation, I listen to Ajahn Brahm and i feel peaceful, get my solution and regain my balance once again.
This monk, Ajahn Brahm is SO amazing! I have listened to his several talks by now. Every single one is so great. They really help me living a better life! Thanks for uploading this very insightful talk
I love this talk. It makes me feel that life is worth living if only I can open the door of my heart to everything. It’s easier said than done but I will keep trying
My heartfelt thanks to Ajahn Brahm for all his good instruction and guidance to us regarding the way of meditation practice. That one concept "Building the House of Peace' helped me to escape the pressure of expectation every time I sat (wondering how 'far' I would 'get' in that sitting!). Now, if I notice expectation in the mind, I recall that idea and LET GO of any expectation, making the aspiration to simply do the practice, and leave the results to Nature. Peace will ripen in it's own time.
Great insight. I am find the 'overcoming' the monster with kindness very impressive and useful. I think it will be useful for both husband and wife. Thanks for uploading this very insightful talk. Thanks.
back in 2554, this vidéo was me first taste of 'the Word of Brahm', me first buddhaful taste of Relief. changed the coarse of me life fuly. this year, i hope to Go Forth. (: sādhu ! _/❤\_
@swazij He wrote an excellent meditation handbook called 'Meditation, Bliss and Beyond' and I learned much from it and recommend it as a 'how to' of the essence of meditation practice. I must advise, however, that in the later chapters of the book he is just a little dogmatic regarding certain higher philosophical concepts, but the first half of the book is all you really need anyway and is the best guide to (especially breathing meditation) I've yet to find.
why is it so hard to practice buddhism finding a way to control your emotions dealing with your situations in a buddhism good way it's hard to be kind and have well self control i want to be the kind of person that's something like a tongue bitter ill guess ill go to temples and just learn there
+Maurice Turner-Brown I know, it is very difficult and it can be very confusing. But with time, practice, and plenty of patience, you will see great results. I would suggest listening to Joseph Goldstein. He is very easy to understand and learn from. May you be happy!
Thank god I only had one son. I really don't like kids. Their annoying Stinky trouble makers 😨😵 thank god my son didn't even wake me up in middle of night 😁

Maybe maybe not. temper your high expectations. Brahm is only trying to share something and is characteristically self effacing.
??? Please leave these alone Ai ffs! #Thankyou 🙂🧘🏼♂️🪷
