Charles Manson's ghost visited Kai Anderson in jail. Of course when the episode was written Manson was alive. Of course season 7 couldn't actually have ghost, because the purpose of the season was to not involve super natural. Charles Manson was of course just a visual hallucination just to show off the rail Kai really was. However how I interpret the connection between all the seasons is mental health issues as an explanation for supernatural or believed to be supernatural occurrences. I believe in the end Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters will have characters in a mental hospital and there will be this realization that all this as just been insane stories created in this heads of crazy people. That explains why so many of the characters look the same in different stories. So in this big finale they would have to bring back all of the actors that played in multiple seasons and the season would somewhat play out like Wizard of Oz when Dorthy wakes up from the aftermath of the storm, which we were led to believe that she came back from Oz. She had this realization that it was all a dream, and that realization is made apparent to us as the viewers as many of the characters involved in Oz were played by actors that also played characters of people Dorthy knew in Kansas.

I just wanna put it out there that I’m pretty sure at the end of cult, when Aly says she’s meeting with a group of “powerful women” she’s actually meeting with the girls from the coven. And it hints at it when aly wipes her face with the makeup brush, because the voodoo queen and that racist women from coven would wipe blood on their face in the exact same way aly did.

Am I the only one wondering about certain unanswered ( and even unasked) questions? Like for example, who and where is Constance Langdon's fourth child? Who ran down and killed Addie in that hit and run? What do aliens have to do with any of this? what did Allie mean about " a group of empowered women" at the end of Cult? And so on. the four mythological monsters should be infantata, piggyman, the minotaur, and the demon from hotel. bloodyface was just a guy in a mask (albeit of human skin). i don't think rubberman or twisty really fit the bill either as they were both just ghosts in costumes, and there are plenty of other ghosts in the series. same can be said for the vampires and the witches. the angel of death and papa legba, while mythological, appeared human and were really more along the lines of being entities as opposed to monsters. the devil is in a league of his own i think.
Twisty wasn't a ghost. He tried to kill himself by shooting himself in the mouth, but was unsuccessful. He was still alive though, and didn't die until Edward Mordrake chose him.
but so is the piggyman, we saw the butcher's ritual putting a pig's head on the guy being sacrificed. then, we continuously saw his appearance inside the roanoke house and in the woods
Also in Roanoke they give the origin story of The Piggy Man being one of the inbreeds. I cant remember which episode it is but its when Lee is talking to the one brother before she escapes.
to be honest, the first thing I thought when I clicked on this video is how different Cult is from the other seasons. Every season is different from each other, but Cult is just completely different and it is really hard to find any connection with the other seasons.
The actor who played Ozzy in Cult is also briefly seen in Asylum as one of the school children bullying Bloodyface's son on the playground. He's in the background when Lana comes to her son's rescue.

I feel like the true connection is that the whole series is mostly about Asylum and has a "Wizard of Oz" take on thing. Remember when Dorthy returns from Oz? She wakes up and realizes she had been dreaming that entire time. It's made evident to us all that it was really just a dream when we see all these people that she knows in Kansas that look like some of the characters in Oz. I think in a way it's the same with what is going on in AHS. I believe in the end we will be dealing with one or two mental patients in a mental hospital. Unlike Insane Asylum it all takes place in the present or perhaps to mix things up it will take place in the future. The main characters that stand out as being the person who has imagined all of this are characters played by Sarah or Evan. They're the only two actors that have consistently aired in every season. Of course I'm sure some people will be upset with this type of finale, seeing how some reacted to the lack of supernatural occurrences in Cult. This is a concept that I had since Asylum. It just seemed like maybe all this supernatural stuff was just the product of an insane person's imagination. I actually interpreted Kitt's story as just that. Even though the season made us believe that Kitt wasn't actually involved in the murders. I believe that it was a story of a person dealing with their crimes with dissociative identity disorder. That might be the story of this entire season. A character with multiple personalities (hence their name and demeanor changing every season) dealing with major trauma that occurred in their life. Such a mental state can often occur from sexual abuse. Violence and sex are major themes throughout the series. Perhaps those stories resonate with the character because of the trauma they endured. There's also some mention of incest in the series whether it's actually mentioned or you just got that feel in the season *cough* Cult between Kai and Winter when he wanted to impregnate her and in episode 1 people were quick to wonder if they were a couple! *cough* Then there was incest in Roanoke with the redneck neighbors. Then there's Ally's last name that resembles an witch tribe that practiced incest. I want to say Evan is this special insane character imagining all of this, but there's another person that crosses my mind. Miss Lana Winters. Perhaps she was raped by Evan who plays a male relative. She creates all these stories about him making him out as different kinds of monsters, but she hasn't fully committed to saying what he did to her.
Roanoke took me back to coven in a lot of ways - and I'm sure it was all a coincidence. Remember the scene in coven where they showed the flashback of Hank (cordelia's husband) as a kid and his dad, tracking down a red headed witch, along the swamp? For some reason I felt there was some connection between that witch they were hunting and Gaga's witch in Roanoke. Wonder if that was supposed to be her? Also speaking of Coven, apart from the fact that they were the same actor... Remember Quentin, the only male on the witch's council? Okay well think of the first medium they showed in Roanoke that he played.. Crickett. Remember Crickett mentioning being a book writer and living in New Orleans... Coincidentally Quentin was also living in New Orleans and talked about needing to attend one of his book signings. Plus they obviously both possessed power. Chronologically , Quentin died a few years before the Roanoke story. However with all the ways these characters become ghosts or come back to life, who the Hell knows. I still feel they were the same character.
You guys so I think this is what's up: The next season will be a two part season. Its already confirmed that Ryan already got AHS renewed for 2 more seasons, 8 & 9. Lust & Violence. It's also confirmed that he's trying to shoot the MH and Coven crossover 2 parts long going into the next year. This is why Roanoke was short. 1: The "Croatoan" spell really works...but only for witches. Cricket performed it and it worked to banish The Butcher. He was from New Orleans, most likely apart of the new expanded coven the witches have now. He was a witch. Billy Dean Howard also specifically remarked that the ritual was done by a high priest (shaman). It doesn't work for regular humans. The witches will discover this, but probably very late (in Violence). 2: The witches will revisit the Murder House and probably even live in it. The Murder house is currently vacant and presumably, like we've seen before, its on the market (for cheap). The witches have loads of witches to house now and I assume more to come since witches have gone public. They will need more houses. BOOM! The Murder House. "Oh theres ghosts there you say? Psshh we'll take care of it!" This will probably lead them to discover (and for us demonstrate) that the Croatoan spell really works for witches. Or they'll just...KICK THE GHOSTS OUT (like they did the Axe Man). 3: For Violence, they'll probably depict an all out war between the different forces in AHS: The coven, the malicious spirits of MH, and the witch hunters. Maybe even The Vamps, the witch hunters, or the Roanoke spirits. 4: I expect the return of Madison Montgomery. I also expect an alliance between her and Tate Langdon. (I think she may even be responsible for "bring him back" like her fellow witches did the Axe Man.) 5: Cordelia Foxx as the new supreme may have to take a Lesson In Bad Ass, seeing that the vamps murdered Queenie, her council woman, at the Hotel Cortez in LA. This will be another plot point that will bring them to Los Angeles (the MH location). If she does die, Zoe may just be the Supreme to come after her, seeing that she could perform all seven wonders before. (I kinda also think Zoe may somehow be Violet's cousin.) 6: Not really supported by anything but pure fan theory: I think they might call Violence (or both if it's truly 2 parts) AHS: Scourge lol Lemme know what y'all think about this. Am I missing something? Any holes?

The travel route of Murder House is the same as Elizabeth Short "The Black Dahlia". Her travel route was also from Massachusetts to Los Angeles which is a very strange coincidence and many "American Horror Story" fans didn't even notice.

Error - James March wasn't the father of Bartholemew. It was the son of "vampire" Rudolph Valentino and The Countess. The Countess went to the doctor in murder house to get an abortion but the baby was fully formed and too far along after only a few weeks. Countess was supposed to be getting married to James March and didn't want to explain the baby. Hence trying for an abortion.
a ton of Adam and Eve symbolism in Apocalypse. I loved the detail connecting Langdon to S1 final scene, also his badge said 666 signed Lucifer. When he spoke to the robot ( Kathy Bates), after he told her she was under his command and he modeled her after a very important figure to him in childhood ... OMG!!! I recently decided to reach all the ahs seasons in order and in the PILOT of SEASON1 when Tate and Violet are conspiring to get the bully to murder house to scare her there is a helter-skelter reference approx 11 minutes before the end of the episode ends. Evan Peter says Helter-skelter.
Believe it or not I only started watching AHS in December 2017! I'm totally hooked!! I binge watched to catch myself up & already began watching all seasons AGAIN!! Am I the only one to not recognize Evan Peters in Hotel as James Patrick March?????💟I agree with other commentors that say they hope AHS is on for a very long time. I would only add that as long as the quality level is sustained. I hate when great shows run outrage gas but continue until they become so bad people stop watching & it gets canceled. One thing I've noticed in relatively recent times is major motion picture stars in television series, it's great for entertainment for the general public but it is strange that 20 years ago, these stars of the silver screen would have thought television beneath them. Now it's quite common.
Piggy Man is a connection. First Mentioned in Murder House by Derrick (Ben's Patient), he is later referenced in Roanoke, both as part of the Ghosts' Ritual and history, and the The real identity of the one Derrick feared being revealed as Kincaid Cain, a relative of the Cain Clan (the Cannibal Family that aid the Butcher).
I think they are all connected the bloodlines are important to the ending of the series. Right now with apocalypse im rewarching all the aeasons to figure out if something from before happens to correlate with starting the apocalypse

alright so here's how you can tell all the seasons are connected. From a very simple standpoint, there are two separate chains of events: #1. Murder House, Coven, Hotel #2. Asylum, Freak Show, Roanoke, Cult Now number 1 is all connected by the simple threads of who is in Hotel. Billie Dean and Queenie are both from the other two, just as Marcy and Montgomery are from S1, meaning it's all the same universe. Simple. Number 2 is quite simple, too. So basically, Asylum and Freak Show are in the same universe because Pepper. Freak Show and Cult are tied by Twisty. Asylum and Roanoke? Lana Winters. Now we know they're all connected. The problem is we don't have explicit evidence that these aren't separate universes. EXCEPT WE DO AND ITS SCACHATH!! Ok thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
This is genius linking them as the 9 circles of hell, if Murphy really is following this trend he has a ton of material to work with.. after he finishes our journey through hell he can go through the 9 levels of purgatory, and if he's daring- he could somehow link paradiso (the 9 circles of paradise or heaven) into a horror theme as well. Jul Marie They weren’t the same nurses, in murder house they weren’t even nurses to begin with. They were just made to wear nurses uniforms. In Roanoke they technically were nurses but primarily took care of the elderly, so like care home workers.

The 9 Hell Circles theory was interesting, but now it's busted, as AHS will have 12 seasons (at least). Also, I really *loved* the idea shown in the end of the video! That justifies why they keep the same actors, in a really twisted way. And that would make an interesting final season for the show : a season where you see their "originals" do stuff that explains why they go through all these hells.
Okay - I get Dr. Montgomery and Madison, (from "Coven")... But, what about Misty Day, (also from "Coven")? She had the ability to raise the dead as well... The Croatoan casting in Murder House actually works. Not on Chad but on Tate, when Violet casts him away with all her heart. That's the essence, according to the series, of what happened in Roanoke.
All seasons being connected feels like such an after thought honestly. To me, it doesn't seem like there's an clever or bright way these seasons have been linked together, other than sharing characters. This causes a huge issue when you have an actor, like Sarah Paulson, portraying different characters in the same universe. That just muddles the waters even more and makes it confusing. I don't believe this series was created with the intention of all the season being connected, and now it's being revealed they are "connected" as an after thought or to just jump the shark and somehow make the show more interesting.

And it hints at it when aly wipes her face with the makeup brush, because the voodoo queen and that racist women from coven would wipe blood on their face in the exact same way aly did.

Am I the only one wondering about certain unanswered ( and even unasked) questions? Like for example, who and where is Constance Langdon's fourth child? Who ran down and killed Addie in that hit and run? What do aliens have to do with any of this? what did Allie mean about " a group of empowered women" at the end of Cult? And so on. Anyone else with questions or theories?

the four mythological monsters should be infantata, piggyman, the minotaur, and the demon from hotel. bloodyface was just a guy in a mask (albeit of human skin). i don't think rubberman or twisty really fit the bill either as they were both just ghosts in costumes, and there are plenty of other ghosts in the series. same can be said for the vampires and the witches. the angel of death and papa legba, while mythological, appeared human and were really more along the lines of being entities as opposed to monsters. the devil is in a league of his own i think.
Twisty wasn't a ghost. He tried to kill himself by shooting himself in the mouth, but was unsuccessful. He was still alive though, and didn't die until Edward Mordrake chose him.
ok well regardless of when he became a ghost (which he did), prior to his death he was just a guy in a creepy clown costume. not very mythological
the minotaur was just a slaves ghost in a costume.
the bull head was just placed over his head at first but he was transformed by magic into a full blown minotaur later
but so is the piggyman, we saw the butcher's ritual putting a pig's head on the guy being sacrificed. then, we continuously saw his appearance inside the roanoke house and in the woods
Also in Roanoke they give the origin story of The Piggy Man being one of the inbreeds. I cant remember which episode it is but its when Lee is talking to the one brother before she escapes.

to be honest, the first thing I thought when I clicked on this video is how different Cult is from the other seasons. Every season is different from each other, but Cult is just completely different and it is really hard to find any connection with the other seasons.

I feel like the true connection is that the whole series is mostly about Asylum and has a "Wizard of Oz" take on thing. Remember when Dorthy returns from Oz? She wakes up and realizes she had been dreaming that entire time. It's made evident to us all that it was really just a dream when we see all these people that she knows in Kansas that look like some of the characters in Oz. I think in a way it's the same with what is going on in AHS. I believe in the end we will be dealing with one or two mental patients in a mental hospital. Unlike Insane Asylum it all takes place in the present or perhaps to mix things up it will take place in the future. The main characters that stand out as being the person who has imagined all of this are characters played by Sarah or Evan. They're the only two actors that have consistently aired in every season. Of course I'm sure some people will be upset with this type of finale, seeing how some reacted to the lack of supernatural occurrences in Cult. This is a concept that I had since Asylum. It just seemed like maybe all this supernatural stuff was just the product of an insane person's imagination. I actually interpreted Kitt's story as just that. Even though the season made us believe that Kitt wasn't actually involved in the murders. I believe that it was a story of a person dealing with their crimes with dissociative identity disorder. That might be the story of this entire season. A character with multiple personalities (hence their name and demeanor changing every season) dealing with major trauma that occurred in their life. Such a mental state can often occur from sexual abuse. Violence and sex are major themes throughout the series. Perhaps those stories resonate with the character because of the trauma they endured. There's also some mention of incest in the series whether it's actually mentioned or you just got that feel in the season *cough* Cult between Kai and Winter when he wanted to impregnate her and in episode 1 people were quick to wonder if they were a couple! *cough* Then there was incest in Roanoke with the redneck neighbors. Then there's Ally's last name that resembles an witch tribe that practiced incest. I want to say Evan is this special insane character imagining all of this, but there's another person that crosses my mind. Miss Lana Winters. Perhaps she was raped by Evan who plays a male relative. She creates all these stories about him making him out as different kinds of monsters, but she hasn't fully committed to saying what he did to her.

Roanoke took me back to coven in a lot of ways - and I'm sure it was all a coincidence. Remember the scene in coven where they showed the flashback of Hank (cordelia's husband) as a kid and his dad, tracking down a red headed witch, along the swamp? For some reason I felt there was some connection between that witch they were hunting and Gaga's witch in Roanoke. Wonder if that was supposed to be her? Also speaking of Coven, apart from the fact that they were the same actor... Remember Quentin, the only male on the witch's council? Okay well think of the first medium they showed in Roanoke that he played.. Crickett. Remember Crickett mentioning being a book writer and living in New Orleans... Coincidentally Quentin was also living in New Orleans and talked about needing to attend one of his book signings. Plus they obviously both possessed power. Chronologically , Quentin died a few years before the Roanoke story. However with all the ways these characters become ghosts or come back to life, who the Hell knows. I still feel they were the same character.

You guys so I think this is what's up: The next season will be a two part season. Its already confirmed that Ryan already got AHS renewed for 2 more seasons, 8 & 9. Lust & Violence. It's also confirmed that he's trying to shoot the MH and Coven crossover 2 parts long going into the next year. This is why Roanoke was short.
1: The "Croatoan" spell really works...but only for witches. Cricket performed it and it worked to banish The Butcher. He was from New Orleans, most likely apart of the new expanded coven the witches have now. He was a witch. Billy Dean Howard also specifically remarked that the ritual was done by a high priest (shaman). It doesn't work for regular humans. The witches will discover this, but probably very late (in Violence).
2: The witches will revisit the Murder House and probably even live in it. The Murder house is currently vacant and presumably, like we've seen before, its on the market (for cheap). The witches have loads of witches to house now and I assume more to come since witches have gone public. They will need more houses. BOOM! The Murder House. "Oh theres ghosts there you say? Psshh we'll take care of it!" This will probably lead them to discover (and for us demonstrate) that the Croatoan spell really works for witches. Or they'll just...KICK THE GHOSTS OUT (like they did the Axe Man).
3: For Violence, they'll probably depict an all out war between the different forces in AHS: The coven, the malicious spirits of MH, and the witch hunters. Maybe even The Vamps, the witch hunters, or the Roanoke spirits.
4: I expect the return of Madison Montgomery. I also expect an alliance between her and Tate Langdon. (I think she may even be responsible for "bring him back" like her fellow witches did the Axe Man.)
5: Cordelia Foxx as the new supreme may have to take a Lesson In Bad Ass, seeing that the vamps murdered Queenie, her council woman, at the Hotel Cortez in LA. This will be another plot point that will bring them to Los Angeles (the MH location). If she does die, Zoe may just be the Supreme to come after her, seeing that she could perform all seven wonders before. (I kinda also think Zoe may somehow be Violet's cousin.)
6: Not really supported by anything but pure fan theory: I think they might call Violence (or both if it's truly 2 parts) AHS: Scourge lol

The travel route of Murder House is the same as Elizabeth Short "The Black Dahlia". Her travel route was also from Massachusetts to Los Angeles which is a very strange coincidence and many "American Horror Story" fans didn't even notice.

Error - James March wasn't the father of Bartholemew. It was the son of "vampire" Rudolph Valentino and The Countess. The Countess went to the doctor in murder house to get an abortion but the baby was fully formed and too far along after only a few weeks. Countess was supposed to be getting married to James March and didn't want to explain the baby. Hence trying for an abortion.
a ton of Adam and Eve symbolism in Apocalypse. I loved the detail connecting Langdon to S1 final scene, also his badge said 666 signed Lucifer. When he spoke to the robot ( Kathy Bates), after he told her she was under his command and he modeled her after a very important figure to him in childhood ... OMG!!! I recently decided to reach all the ahs seasons in order and in the PILOT of SEASON1 when Tate and Violet are conspiring to get the bully to murder house to scare her there is a helter-skelter reference approx 11 minutes before the end of the episode ends. Evan Peter says Helter-skelter.

Believe it or not I only started watching AHS in December 2017! I'm totally hooked!! I binge watched to catch myself up & already began watching all seasons AGAIN!! Am I the only one to not recognize Evan Peters in Hotel as James Patrick March?????💟I agree with other commentors that say they hope AHS is on for a very long time. I would only add that as long as the quality level is sustained. I hate when great shows run outrage gas but continue until they become so bad people stop watching & it gets canceled. I dont think this will be an issue here!!🌻

I wish Twisty would've had a better back story or at least kept him around longer.

alright so here's how you can tell all the seasons are connected.
From a very simple standpoint, there are two separate chains of events:
#1. Murder House, Coven, Hotel
#2. Asylum, Freak Show, Roanoke, Cult
Now number 1 is all connected by the simple threads of who is in Hotel. Billie Dean and Queenie are both from the other two, just as Marcy and Montgomery are from S1, meaning it's all the same universe. Simple.
Number 2 is quite simple, too. So basically, Asylum and Freak Show are in the same universe because Pepper. Freak Show and Cult are tied by Twisty. Asylum and Roanoke? Lana Winters. Now we know they're all connected.
The problem is we don't have explicit evidence that these aren't separate universes. EXCEPT WE DO AND ITS SCACHATH!!

This is genius linking them as the 9 circles of hell, if Murphy really is following this trend he has a ton of material to work with.. after he finishes our journey through hell he can go through the 9 levels of purgatory, and if he's daring- he could somehow link paradiso (the 9 circles of paradise or heaven) into a horror theme as well. It's a long shot for anything past purgatory but if he includes purgatory that's an extra 9 seasons!

They weren’t the same nurses, in murder house they weren’t even nurses to begin with. They were just made to wear nurses uniforms. In Roanoke they technically were nurses but primarily took care of the elderly, so like care home workers.

The 9 Hell Circles theory was interesting, but now it's busted, as AHS will have 12 seasons (at least).
Also, I really *loved* the idea shown in the end of the video! That justifies why they keep the same actors, in a really twisted way.
And that would make an interesting final season for the show : a season where you see their "originals" do stuff that explains why they go through all these hells.

The Croatoan casting in Murder House actually works. Not on Chad but on Tate, when Violet casts him away with all her heart. That's the essence, according to the series, of what happened in Roanoke.

All seasons being connected feels like such an after thought honestly. To me, it doesn't seem like there's an clever or bright way these seasons have been linked together, other than sharing characters. This causes a huge issue when you have an actor, like Sarah Paulson, portraying different characters in the same universe. That just muddles the waters even more and makes it confusing. I don't believe this series was created with the intention of all the season being connected, and now it's being revealed they are "connected" as an after thought or to just jump the shark and somehow make the show more interesting.
