Introduction of National Tsing Hua University

National Tsing Hua University was first established as “Tsing Hua Academy” in Beijing, in 1911. In 1956, National Tsing Hua University was reinstalled on its present location in Hsinchu Taiwan. Since its relocation, NTHU has blossomed into a comprehensive research university offering a full range of degree programs in science, technology, engineering, humanities, social sciences, and management. NTHU consistently ranks as one of the premier universities in East Asia, widely recognized as the best incubator for future leaders of our society. Our outstanding alumni highlight the success of NTHU students, like Nobel Physics laureates, Dr. Cheng-Ning Yang and Dr. Tsung-Dao Lee, Nobel Chemistry laureate Dr. Yuan-Tseh Lee, and Wolf Prize winner in mathematics Dr. Shiing-Shen Chern.

I came to Tsinghua as an exchange student 10 days ago and I can confidently say I made the right decision. This school is filled with intelligent and surprisingly friendly students and staff. The campus is stunning, a blend of mordern and history. The predecessors honored to establish NTHU in here Taiwan as they couldn't tolerate to the China's communist government. They and us in this generation are all proud of "Tsing Hua" and we've never criticized which one, in Peking or in Hsinchu is fake or genuine. Actually, in academic term, we collaborated a lot and consistently developed things all the decades passed. And... comon we're all know that Taiwan now is one of the best country for freedom of speech, handling of the virus epidemic, digital technology comprehensive, LGBT right, and so on. I'm not a Taiwanese, doesn't speak Mandarin, too. I'm just a foreign student here but still pay respect to culture, people, affairs or everything in which I think other civilized people should do or have as well....

Well in fact 2 Tsing hua acknowledge each other as "genuine"
