You can also change the Click PLC to use Modbus HEX addressing and simply put the HEX value of the register in the controller (i.e. set addressing type to "Modbus Hex Addressing" and put 23Ch as the "starting slave address" if you want to change P2.030.

Before everything, thank you so much for all this helping videos, they jave really helped me to understand a lot of things I learned at school back in the days, I just have one question. Why did you sent a DS100 to the parameter? Best regards.

Glad it was helpful! We use DS100 to send to the drive because it is a variable instead of a constant. if we wanted to write a different number than 1, we could simply change the value of DS100 in the software, or using an HMI, or another device and it would automatically update it in the drive without having to change the send block in the logic.

I am hesitating If I should use Modbus or Ethercat, thanks to all of your shared knowledge, now I understand pretty well Modbus, but I want to move on on Ethercat. Thanks for everything 🙏🙏🙏.
@@omargaray9457 there is not EtherCAT comms module for SureServo 2 at this time. The only options are Modbus RTU on-board, or the expansion modules for either EtherNet/IP or Modbus/TCP
can you guide how to control servo running position mode by plc through modbus. We can change both speed, position continuously like the control in traditional pulse mode (pt position) Thank you
