Love this kind of content. Connecting worlds together. Seeds are being planted. Thanks guys for your continued help and sharing insight with those of us that love growing and learning all things horticulture. The ocean is HUGE.
This is another amazing podcast! Incredible! What you guys are doing is getting your customers and fans interested and more knowledgeable in this world of plants.
Enjoyed this podcast! So cool it started from a daffodil field. Such a sweet boy who picked flowers for his mom. Thanks for featuring such interesting people!
Fascinating interview! Very cool to see one of the creators talk about some of the plants I love in my garden: spirea candy corn, and calycanthus Aphrodite and Venus!
Very cool to hear about the origins of Carolina Sweetheart with the Mendel Squares and F2 generation!! 🤓 Reminds me of when my grey cockatiel “Franky” and Lutino “Beans” had many broods - and once we ended up with a rare pied cinnamon! Franky died many years later at 25,, but I have a Franky boy arborvitae in remembrance 🙏
I've been looking for Carolina Sweetheart for a few years. Found one large tree locally this year and it steals the show from my J. maples. Very impressive in person.
Amazing, amazing, amazing!!!!! Thank you Dr. Ranney!
Thanks for listening
That was great!

I am just now feeling an urge to study horticulture. Who knows how many innocent maple trees I might not kill.
Awesome!

Rhododendron breeders have more fun than maples, just saying. 😅
