Clean coop weekly and change water daily. Wash watering containers properly when you clean the coop to remove and prevent bacterial build up. You want to keep your chickens healthy and they'll keep giving you a great egg output. Keep up the good work
Asafa you need to clean the coop regularly and also sprinkle saw dust regularly to keep the chickens' feet dry. I really felt sorry for them when they were undergoing the surgery....Good job..I love how you did that manly job.
1. Having tile at the bottom is a big no no. The litter needs aeration and drainage. 2. I encourage you to get an automatic waterer so you don't have to refill often and it can be suspended as high as you need it. 3. I hope u have the birds on the correct feeding programme to get maximum production. 4. A number of things can cause the bird to stop laying. Having caked, wet litter doesn't help. 5. You're making the right move. Eat what you grow, grow what u eat.
You need some saw dust, after a while you change, to stop it from smell. Poop will soak up in the saw dust, more easy to clean. Good job Asafa! I love your care for the chickens

I raise alot of layers and I put them on the dirt with a little sand on top, no built up of poo cause they keep turning it over... Give them a little fresh sand now and again...cub always look clean

If the coop isn't clean, and they don't have fresh water and enough feed it will put stress on them and they wont lay as much. Also if they're hot, it looks like the coop need a tarp to block some of the heat in the middle of the day. The happier they are the more eggs they lay.

Bro you need to put the saw dust in the coup and get a aerated fork to turn the litter at lest two times per week. That will reduce the ammonia built up from their excretion. Blessings

Saw dust is what cause the paste like mat in the cope, Wood chip would be better and would be a better flooring, also for that many hens the cope needs to be cleaned (WEEKLY)

Yo safa the fowl have some infection on its feet I can't say it's yawze because they r in the coop it's not poo wash it off with water or go to the vet and tell them the problem ok it's not infected use saw dust to keep the scent down maybe one of them hen is a rooster lol I love farm animal you're doing great with dem fowls I guess they r all layers oh too bad they won't have any chicks all the best on your farming am out
