After he had led his people to Cider Lake, he left to heal the wounds of the world from the war, and met the other archons. He then went to a deep slumber for 1600 years. He was awaken by the cries of his people and discovered the aristocracy. He then helped Vennessa to overthrow the aristocracy and start fresh.

When venti sayd "we meet again Traveler" that means he already meet us (again) countless times. Until now he has big hopes for us to save Teyvat bc we already loosed many times in the past (This is my Delulu idk if it correct is js a theory tought)
I always get shivers when i realize that Genshin is probably going to bring us full circle and back to Monstadt and Venti is hiding something big from us Also did any of us ever realize that we haven’t unlocked a part of Monstadt because the statue is missing? Like my theory is that since Monstadt is so close to Khaenri’ah that statue probably would have brought us to Kharnri’ah or at least a glimpse of it
