I think he misspelled this trick on purpose. He put it as Gyrados instead of Gyarados because in the trick, he does a gyroscopic flop. If that is the case, well done on making that name, and also good job on this great tutorial. :)

hey, so I have the trick down up to the part with the flop, i get the wrap and drop it, make sure the two sides are level, but when i pull, the yoyo gets to 90 degrees and then freaks out when i try to throw the slack and tilts diaganol, tips?
Which yoyo would you prefer? Skyva, Replay Pro, or Sage?
They all have their perks. The Sage is the least expensive and can be setup to play responsive or unresponsive. The Replay Pro Is the least expensive option if you are looking just for an unresponsive yoyo. The Skyva probably plays the best of the three, but it is also the most fragile. If you are a relatively new player we would suggest the Sage or the Replay Pro since they are much more durable.

When ever I let go of the string I am missing one wrap around
I just got a horizon as my first unresponsive yoyo and it vibrates a lot... does anyone have tips to throw a more stable throw?
Daniel Lavoie if it vibes after you throw thats perfectly normal just try to throw straight and you are good it will come over time
if the yoyo still vibes after you touch it with your finger like cheking the smoothnes your throw cant change that

Dear yotricks, this question isn't relevant to the question, but im having a hard time 2a looping. When ever I throw the yoyo out, sometimes, the yoyo spins out sideways as if I was doing a sidewinder. How do i prevent this from happening?
That is normal when learning how to loop. Unfortunately, there is no easy solution other than to continue to practice. It just takes time to get it right.
Thx also, when I perform this trick, I throw the slack around the yoyo, my yoyo doesn't gyro properly and goes nuts. How do i fix this?
I suggest you watch our video on Gyroscopic flop. All the tips you need to solve that problem are in that video.

What is the best string to practice with?
Typically we use HighEndString, but many players prefer Kitty String.

Whenever I try to wrap the string around the front of the yoyo, it stops spinning. What should I do? I'm also using a Skyva.
You may be pulling too tight for the Gyroscopic Flop. Try using less force.
yotricks What I meant was when I try to do what Evan does at 1:12 where he wraps the string around the front, the yoyo stops spinning.
Hey yoyotircks I was wondering if any of you guys have tried the sidekick pro yoyo and if so can you do a review?
We have not. That being said, the sidekick is not a single yoyo, but a series of yoyos (all, strangely, with the same name). Most seem to be knockoffs of cheaper yoyos, as far as I can tell. That is not to say they don't play just fine, but we would certainly not recommend them to someone currently looking for a yoyo.

yoyotricks I am at a a block. I am an intermediate beginner. I want to make combos but I can't put hem together should I keep working on trying to make combos or just keep learning tricks. The reason I ask is I have been at this point for weeks and I have progressed and I feel like I am slowly starting to stop yo-yoing

One more question, My friend bought me a new shutter and with both shutter I have gotten they after a certain point my a very high pitch sound. How to I fix this or how do I prevent it in the future

this trick's name makes me hungry for some reason.
i have the edge but i cant get it to spin anywhere near as long as even, help, i have tried cleaning the bearing.
That has more to do with technique than the yoyo. If the string ever touches the side of the yoyo it quickly kills its spin.
but like even on a dead straight throw i can only get it to spin for like a minute or so
There is no trick in any of his videos where the yoyo spins longer than a minute.

completing a difficult trick from u guys is impossible because you dont break down the problems so i dont understand what im doing wrong.
For the pro player tricks we expect players to be at a certain level where they can solve some of the problems themselves. We do our best to point out the most common mistakes people make, but the tricks are too complex, we simply could not address everything.
