I’ve recently hopped on the Tesla bandwagon. We had to take my dad’s keys a few years ago due to age. With FSD, I’m hoping my kids never have to take mine.
Me too, but my dad stopped driving a few years ago after his 2nd Prius was totaled. Interesting - neither accident was his fault! Now he enjoys my Y driving us around. Even with mild dementia he's aware enough to ask 'how many other cars drive like yours does?' My mom got to see her solar panels charging an electric car before she died in 2023. Crazy how much driving changed in their lifetimes, no idea where it will be when mine ends but I know I won't be driving :) .
Yep every old driver thinking the same .Harrowing taking my Father for test and his memory test failed him .Hearing him saying I'll come back 😢😢😢😢😢😢.
Congratulations! Hope you're enjoying your Tesla as well as FSD.
glad to see busier places like NYC!
Thanks for going all the way for us!
Huge thanks!
On 13.2.2, I had TWO instances when, on a local, 2-lane road, the car crossed the interrupted yellow line, attempting to pass the vehicle in front. The first attempt was successful because there was nobody coming from the opposite direction but the second attempt would have resulted in a horrible, fatal crash had I allowed it to proceed as there were multiple vehicles coming from the opposite direction and they were VERY close.
My theory is that, possibly due to sun glare, the car was unable to see the 'yellow' in the yellow line and moved to the lane on the left, thinking that the road was, somehow, a 2-lane, one-way road.
I hope that Tesla is aware of this behavior by now. And, if this wasn't the bug that 13.2.7 fixed, they are going to address this ASAP.
Good work, by the way :)
I appreciate you being the first to test 13.2.7. I'm currently stuck on 13.2.2 as Tesla says there is a bug that prevents upgrading from that version. Hoping maybe 13.2.7 is the one that can go out and replace 13.2.2 since I've not had an update since 2 days before Christmas on my 2024 Model 3 Performance. 13.2.2 has been good but it occasionally has a lane choice problem and a problem yielding right of way in some cases.
Me too, definitely hope they push this one wide
This answers my question. Glad to know I’m not alone in misery! JK!
@ From data today, 13.2.7 is just starting to go wider and in checking, that version IS going out to vehicles running 13.2.2. So maybe it'll just be another day or two.
@ definitely hope so
Yes. I have the same problem of choosing the wrong lane turning left with 13.2.2... at times. Otherwise great.
I bought a Model Y with FSD Dec 2024. FSD started with a V12, in the past three month it updated twice to V13.2.6 today. Each updated FSD has had obvious improvements. I have to admit that FSD drives better than I do.
I'm liking the progress of FSD a lot now! Cheers for doing this and sharing with us!
Wow this build looks super impressive. I know for a fact if I took the same trip, I would have messed up one of the exits or merge and ended up where I didn't want to go. It's evident with this rate of improvements, super human FSD is up on us.
I am still on FSD 13.2.2 and look forward to my update. I use FSD all the time and like seeing the constant progress. Rollout of unsupervised in Texas is a short time away.
I just got 13.2.6 a few days ago haven’t had any issues so far
12.6.3 is wide released now! Such a big improvement for HW3 cars!!
Agree, tried it today and super happy
It’s been very unreliable for me so far
Not so much for me; did recalibrate of cameras, no help. Turn signals worse than before; not good in snow at all (phantom braking, swerving to avoid very shallow meltwater on side of road, etc.).
4:01 I love that clip you threw in there 😂 Thanks for the laugh, you’ve earned a new subscriber!
👍🏾
No way I would drive any better than that in NYC. Excellent video.
Humans drive every day for years without any incidents. FSD is nowhere even close to that level of performance.
Thats not what the stats says about human driving.
@ You are mistaken about the stats. Read on.
_The average person is likely to be involved in three to four car accidents in their lifetime. This means that the typical driver will file a claim about every 18 years_
@@DerekDavis213 for accidents involving impacts or driving off the road for some reason I think you have a point. But for traffic violations and just crappy driving? Plus I'd be a tourist so generally an idiot. 😅
You are correct. The safety aspect of FSD is overrated. That's what happens when you use relative statistics instead of absolute. The same nonsense we saw with a certain jab. If you're an average driver and drive 60 years, there's about a 1% chance you'll be killed in a crash. If driving were as dangerous as some are making it out to be, nobody would drive.
Just got 13.2.6 update yesterday. Still got random slow down.
Thanks for providing these upgrades videos. I am on 12.6.1 for a number of weeks, big improvement over 12.5 but ordered a MY Launch to get up to 13. Thanks again.
FSD v13 is awesome!
Like the Key & Peele cut 😂
❤ Tesla self driving best in the game
Cybertruck hits almost every speed bump without slowing down! I miss my model Y performances FSD! Seemed much more polished! And I traded it in in November. Software was not what it is now, and I feel it was better than what i have on the Cybertruck now!
Don't worry CT is on its own platform and needs it's own software version. It will get better but a lot of it's progress is based on CT training data which is very small compared to Y.
So jealous... been stuck on 13.2.2 since November...
I strongly suspect that 13.2.7 is a re-release of 13.2.6 with an easier upgrade path.
Good news is you'll jump from 2.2 to 2.7 ot 2.7.1 and get a much better product
Here's hoping you're right!
😂Bro that A'aron clip gave me a jump😅
4:03 speedbump disengaged pass
And even if FSD misses a speedbump, it doesn't learn and remember for the next time at the same speedbump. That's an engineering mistake.
🥰😍🤩❤💯💢💥💫👍👍👍Love your Videos Thank You for posting 🙂
I watch all of the bleeding edge testers, your videos are the most interesting. Dirty Tesla is good too but your driving in the city is more serious testing. Interesting at 31:00 because you are right with that using map knowledge, it should plan this lane change ahead before it gets into such a squeeze. Of course, once in that squeeze, it's the right way to deal with it in order to keep the traffic flowing. What happened though at the end with the pedestrian?
Passing a box truck on the right in city traffic is absolutely diabolical. this thing clearly still needs quite a bit of work.
Thank you for this drive. It was amazing! FSD and the view of the city is great.
That's some pretty sick city driving! Enjoy your Tesla!
Definitely had issues! I'm on 13.2.6 and I can definitely see the difference from the early software and it sucks!
Which one sucks? Earlier software, or .6 version?
Getting some great data for FSD Tesla good job.👍
Great video mate 🤟
Just got 12.6.3, and it's a big improvement. It fixed multiple lane issues in local streets, and highway performance is much better. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of how it hugs the lanes in curves, and speed bumps are still a problem... Confidence in FSD is restored, and it's actually useful again. 12.5.x was very indecisive and annoying...
12.5 was unusable
I got v13.2.2.1 on 12/27/24 and I got v13.2.6 about 5 days ago. V13.2.6 has fixed 3 dramatic behavior issues w the prior build and overall seems to be more alert, make better decisions and drive more human-like.
Do you know what the issue is w this build. I am verrrrrrry happy with it and it has notable improvements on v13.2.2.1.
At around 6:25 in your S moved over to the left (in the lane) nicely I *think* because the car on your right was also drifting to the left. No drama.
When you go to NYC, does FSD know not to turn on red, or is no right turn on red enabled by default?
It knows based on the signs
At 5:43 into your video where it crossed over the white line to get into that lane, it's notable that the white line is much brighter there, just after where it crossed over, and is extremely faded or dirty further back. So I don't blame it at all and don't think it's a bug that it didn't move over sooner for that lane because the earlier white line doesn't register much.
Canada Gets the versions a Week Late. I got FSD13.2.6 Last week. This would be probably next week. Did a 230KM Run 99% FSD. One Critical Disengagement when it went into the oncoming traffic while left turn.
bruh i have the new model 3 performance and i am still shook of the quietness.
Keep up those drop in clips. 😂😂😂
Blinkers are a big issue with 12.3.6. I was sitting at a stoplight in the straight lane, and it turned on the left blinker to indicate that we will be making the left turn, but not until after going through the intersection completely and turning onto a different road. It’s like it was over anticipating the blinker usage.
Nobody regular even got the old one due to the problem. This release is so we can all update
I picked up my 2025 M3P v13.2.2 w/Full FSD Package!!! I'm waiting for this v13.2.7. Drove 150 miles home from Tesla show room and it did great on interstate. seam to keep slowing down on with hurry and standard. Couldn't get it so stay like Cruise Control.
Great vid thanks.
Good vid. Gosh it is so like you are driving.
Turn signals seem worse with 12.6.3 (HW3 M3) - signaling too early (with several turns possible) or for no reason (was fixed in previous release).
Thanks for the video. Question, which driver profile is this in? Hurry?
Hurry
9:00 I like the inside line hugging idea in general, but on my HW3 Model S (with the first Version 12.6.3), FSD way over does it
Sometimes it hugs the inside line so tightly that it’s literally riding on the line, and suddenly I’m driving on the bumps between lanes
Perhaps this is just a Version 12 and/or HW3 issue, but they really need to fix that. Other cars on the road must think I’m a maniac leaving my lane 😅
Yes a v12 and v13 issue fixed in 13.2.6+
@ well that’s good news! Can’t wait for it on mine lol
Sweet another update I wont get, stuck on 13.2.2 still
How come Whole Mar has never had a disengagement in two years?
How do you film your videos? Do you have a camera mounted on your shoulder or something? I'm thinking of starting an FSD channel to cover Vancouver, Canada.
Seems like the sun glare issue is solved now?
Possibly need to do more testing
Still watching the video but 2 questions
1. Do you think disengagement could have been prevented If. Ot in hurry mode.
2. When Tesla is fixing the “bugs” that you flagged, is that across the board for all instances or is it focused on your specific route
1) possibly will try it out
2) they are fixed for all instances like it since the video clips are used to train what to do or not to do
@@BlackTesla cool thanks keep up the good work sir
I’m still on 13.2.2 on my 2025 MY
Really appreciate the disengagement counter as have no time to watch the whole video...
🤣
I think 4 disengagement are not necessary, am I wrong?
Speeding over a speed bump will damage air suspension, Speeding through the toll booth will get fined, rolling over an unknown bag in NYC could result in a flat tire, last one is subjective
Why does the car stay in the left lane on the highway when it's not passing any cars? It should move over.
Because they think it's the "fast lane" 🤣
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
hey bro quick question i just got a model x loaner today and have a model y, if i change the seat in the X will that change my seat configuration in my own car? i noticed it transferred all my settings but i noticed the seat never moved on the X really don’t want to mess up my own seat😂
Yes if you save it in the X it will mess up the settings in your Y. It's supposed to have settings for each car-type but it doesn't work sadly
@ thank you very much, glad i didn’t end up touching it. luckily fsd solves that issue being too far away 😂
12.6.3 is smoother and more confident but there are still a significant number of disengagements. Not even close to unsupervised.
It's not but then again it's not supposed be at this point. Allegedly unsupervised in v14 and since it's on v12 it has a ways to go.
@BlackTesla lol. The saga continues 😉
How often are you having critical interventions lately?
Outside of NY very rarely
@ thanks for replying, inside NY how many times per month? Vs how many times outside
@@rodsr9906 Even 1 critical intervention per month is too much. That would mean FSD is not Level 5 Fully Autonomous.
미국인들아 정신차려..테슬라 아니었으면 너희들은...멸종이야. 자동차 산업....그런데도 테슬라를 안 밀어 주나? 차가 안 좋으면 말을 안한다.
That wouldn’t be called a race, I’d say more like a reminder….for him 😂. I have a 24 Plaid.
Mr Garvey does NOT like that 5th speed bump!!! Where’s A-ARon?
The biggest problem is those damn human drivers.. LOL
21:47 what in the abomination is that!? Toll making things conjested.
I’m still on 12.5 wtf
13.2.x is as much better than 12.6.x as 12.6 is better than 12.3.
20:30 😅
Need hw5 for a decent self driving, thats for sure. If you want to buy a Tesla for the FSD, better wait for the hw5.
Your 100% correct HW3 is none runner for FSD going forward HW4 should get close but HW5 is one that takes them to Finnish line
Huawei ADS 3.2 is better than Tesla FSD
😂
We have to see it in the US to make that determination. Same as we need to see Tesla FSD in China to compare the other way.
