Thank you. ☺ Sure, I will try to work that into future videos. Here are 2 videos in which I share how to find stocks to trade in that will also help: th-cam.com/video/2ZjPQVyfcOI/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/cuL51-mXmpk/w-d-xo.html
From a fundamental standpoint, no. In my opinion, RSI is not a good indicator for that. It might be a decent indicator for technically helping you see if it might be over bought on oversold, but not fundamentally.
Thanks for the video. I recently sold covered call on my TMF shares and as you know treasury started skyrocketing and I was in risk of losing my shares to cheap so ended up spending $375 to roll the contract up to make sure I didn’t lose them. no matter how far I went out it was still expensive to roll. Can you do a video on rolling?
Sure. Thank you for sharing. Here's a video series that will help you out. It has several on rolling options and more specifically, rolling covered calls: th-cam.com/play/PL3j38I2YtGw0GuZi4OOSzGcx3Oq_SMr2K.html
i wouldn't say easy income. You still have to do fundamental analysis and buy /sell good companies. You cant sell options on bad companies or ones with crazy IV like nvda
Great point Jason. I absolutely agree with you that a trader should NOT sell options in bad or overpriced companies. That was one of the main points in this video. And in my opinion, IV is not a primary consideration, although it could be a secondary one since higher IV tends to elevate option prices. Once a trader/investor understands fundamental and technical analysis though, in my opinion, it's one of the easiest forms of income I collect. The only one that's easier for me is collecting dividends. But it is definitely one that required education.
Selling CSP can be profitable, but this past week shows just how dangerous they can be. I just took a small controlled loss to adjust my account due to the entire market crashing. The discipline to not push too far and having a plan if things go wrong allowed me to survive this so far. Every strategy has risk. Every strategy has reward. But, having plans for when thing go right or when they go wrong, has been my best strategy.

Good video for new , inexperienced or experienced options traders
Amazing, thank you so much for the video.
Could you please make a video about how to make a screener for stocks to sell puts on?
Thank you. ☺
Sure, I will try to work that into future videos.

Thanks Randy. In your experience is RSI a reliable indicator of a company being overbought/oversold?
Thats not all RSI is used for. It can also identify divergences which is particularly useful to determine good entry and exit points.
From a fundamental standpoint, no. In my opinion, RSI is not a good indicator for that. It might be a decent indicator for technically helping you see if it might be over bought on oversold, but not fundamentally.
What is the difference between selling calls and selling puts?
This video will help explain that: th-cam.com/video/bKLxEY3BolY/w-d-xo.html

High volatility companies like NVDA are exactly where some of the best puts can be sold, if you are patient
@bidmcms3 I agree. Nvidia can be good to sell.puts on but it does have wild swings. I usually sell 2 weeks out max
