You can use with arduino uno if using a level translator 5V to 3.3V , for example 74HC125 or some transistors., and a regulator for the 3.3V power . Simple and efective implementation of demo.
I really like your projects videos! Sadly they only feed to my addiction of buying more sensors/components... Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to get my fix!
You're absolutely right. I am addicted to it. I buy new sensors, ICs, and components constantly. When I get them to work properly in a project its a rush. One of the best feelings of achievement amd satisfaction.
I know I'm late to the party, but the first time I watched it (about the time it originally came out), I was not ready to try it. I have seen it used on other channels with better luck. You may have received a bad unit. I don't know, but from the camera angle it looked like your hand was pivoting down as you moved to the right. I know it also does color recognition. Best I remember (it was quite so time ago), but I've seen it sort candies by color and I also someone using color translucent films. Thanks for the video, keep it up.
Hey i really like your videos it is more helpful for me , my Qustion is that how can we combine two sensor code in Ardunio? these two sensor working to geather at same time. sensors are (APDS 9960 and DHT22), if you have Ardunio code for these sensor kindly share or you have working prototype for this then kindlly share with us . Thankyou
Ah, the Arduino is back. Did you get in on the Sainsmart "Free just pay shipping" deal yesterday? I got some great parts for just 5 bucks. Thanks, Paul for hauling out the Arduino again I really liked this video!
Interesting that this video mirrors my experience with the module - it's unreliable to the point of being useless. Ok, if it mis-reads a feature here and there, forgive it, but the one in the video only saw left and down and then only sporadically, either not seeing anything or getting it wrong.
Thanks Paul, I always love your videos, I've been following you a little while 😊 but sadly never comment but this time...I can't get my sensor to work, well everything else works (library examples) but the gesture sensor doesn't, even with your fix. I got it to say none a few times literally. If it's broken it wouldn't work at all right? Idk bummer.

NAILS ARE SO CUTE!
Heard about it from Mick's channel. Been wanting to buy since but was low on funds. But now it's Payday!

Great video. You are like a mind reader. Every video you make corresponds with exactly what I am working on or learning about at that moment.
9:57 These are the electrons you are looking for
ironnam But where are the droids?
Can I ask can this sensor also use for drone to measure ground height
No, this has a range of just a few centemeters.
What about the "Interruput"? Is it actually useful?
Thanks Paul. I think that ALL electronics is cool. That's why it's my favorite hobby!

Another great video from one of my brothers in electronics! Thank you!
does it work with black objects?
That is a cool little sensor. Thanks for the cool video Paul.
great video, thanks for your time. do you know if there is any gesture sensor that has bigger range of 20cm?

George, no I missed out on that.
Can we generate more than 6 functions with this=?

Yes it was definitely not reliable.
Sir, you are making wrong gestures... this is why does not work properly.
Touch free!! Nice to see an Arduino vid again.
High School football season ends tomorrow night (probably) and I'll have more time to work on Arduino videos. They take me a little longer.

Why couldn't you plug it into 3.3v Uno pin?
Uno pins are 5V
Thank you so much. Can i get the script please?
But uno has 3.3 v connector
Thanks so much! This is super helpful!
Wot...? Uno and Mega have 3.3V wot ?
3.3V rails. 5V logic
@@learnelectronics oh alright that's good to know thanks. So I guess a Pi would do better here lol
how to use this sensor at night
That's very cool thanks for sharing
Excellent. Many thanks.
