This feels like inception, I'm cleaning 3d scanned meshes right now while watching this hahaha. That EinScan Libre looks like an absolute beast, way faster than other solutions I've seen.
That scanner is wild. That would be really cool to have a go with that. The price hurts, but for what you can do worth the investment by the sound of it.
that scanner is absolutely crazy, being able to process the 3d model literally in your hand is amazing. I wonder where they source their graphics processing power from.
9:03 i would love to have a scan of my car haha. Just wondering, if that was something that you offered, how much would you charge for custom scans, could use some myself
My sony xperia 5 phone thats about 5 years old at least has a 3d scanner that scan colour. Sony abandoned updating the app but can still use it. They probably sell it for a fortune now
Different applications, nowhere near the precission of one fo these scanners, and when you are making body kits, modifications or even for reverse engineerings precission is key, otherwise is a pain in the ass trying to clean deviations irl, specially when you need to add tolerances when manufacturing too, so everything adds up quickly. Either way unless you have a shop a tool like this is not within reach, you have other solutions that are way more affordable but of course not nearly as good, so you are basically trading precission and time saves for money.
@amigodesigns literally just saying it could scan in colour, not comparing my 5 year old phone with an unsupported app to an actual 3d scanner of any kind, just found it odd the way misha said it scans in colour like it unusual. I work as a metal fabricator my 3d scanner is pen, paper n a measuring tape
@@Rab_Cee That's very likely using photogrammetry (I actually used to do that for high res environments for VR when it first came out) whereas this isn't the same tech and colour images aren't that common as they're only looking for detail, not colour. So the fact it can do both is really quite cool.
Thanks. That was nice.👍

Very VERY Cool, I hope the developers have the IP tech well protected :-)
