Episode 2: Employment and research

The second Alumni Insights episode welcomes Xiaoyu Hu (Shawn) who transitioned from working in a laboratory to working as an account manager and product specialist at ArcDia International. Our second guest is Mariia Andreeva who studied the Baltic Sea region and is now employed as a Communications Coordinator at the Union of the Baltic Sea (UBC) - Sustainable Cities Commission.
If Mariia is working in a field that directly relates to her studies, Xiaoyu switched his career path from science to business while making use of his experience and knowledge in biotechnology.
In this episode, they discuss career paths and career transition, but also how to network and to be active and efficient in your job research.
