Think your strat for resources was a little off, though I can't blame you with how much stuff was going on and the crazy mutators. I would have tried mining passages around the resources to funnel the exploders in there, especially some of those huge deposits, to do the mining for you. Also, the weapon box is such a bad choice early in these runs where you are trying to get certain builds, it completely screws your upgrade pool.
I guess because the game gets stale real quick with its static map and waves. It needs a lot of work to get to the point of having real replayability besides fiddling around with the gun gimmick.
can you get pay2win and luck artifact together with 3 gold scanners and then just roll the maximum amount every level up. bonus points if you chain up level ups since the luck stays 5 sec
He was wondering if you can Overclock into Cold damage or get a Cold weapon from the Weapon Box. The Carbine makes sense because the Overclock only applies the Status Effect, it doesn't change the damage type.

A lot of the current research is indicating that contrary to historical theories on the subject, damage is, in fact damage.
One trick i learned is to have the exploders follow you up right next to the ore, and then explode them. Fast efficient mining ^^
I had to go juggernaught gunner and stack on defense, foot spped, and jet boots in order to finish this one. It was rough.

i completed this also it was similar. you can get cold weapon by overclocking plasma carbine :)
why are there no more nimrods runs?

i get the impression you didnt read the stage notes with how many times you talk about getting cryo.
and yet they gave it to you on the carbine? weird
It was pretty clear that cryo weapons cannot be picked, but never they said upgrades were off the table.
