    I think it was really clever how you made that cat walk inside. It makes it seem like there's a large basement underneath

    I'm loving this series. As a new lego collector it has motivated me to give shrinking buildings a go.

    This whole series is so creative. Would love to see a MOC park or something added to your city

    A custom delivery truck with the same color pattern would look awesome with the Sardine Factory!

    Glad to see more content. I think your "shrinking sets" theme is great! Thank u

    I love this "shrinking sets series"

    The “midi” city is such an awesome way to have a diverse display without the size commitment of the full scale sets. Using the CITY set as inspiration was perfect. I really like the MOC and the story integrated with the cat elements.

    I think maybe an overlooked reason this build works so well in your city is the fact that it’s only 2 stories. The short and squat factor compared to its neighbors gives the skyline a more natural feel.

    It was so fun getting to watch this video after seeing the sardine factory in person at brickworld! This series is fantastic Claire!

    Love the recent direction you have been moving with this series. Would be great to see you make a small version of one of the buildings you worked on in real life.

    Great job! You took one of the least interesting concepts (Sardine factory) but you did an awesome job

    Really enjoying your “Shrunk down” series and the way you put the videos together is so interesting to watch. The MOC Sardine Factory fits very well in your city and looks so cute (I am feeling inspired to build my factory in a similar way to you). Thank you for posting these on TH-cam.

    A great addition to your city. I’d say this was my favourite so far because there’s more of your own creativity and imagination in it. But I really like how you’ve been shrinking down existing sets. You get a good mix of styles. Plus it fits with your existing branding with your stickers, I think?

    I'm glad you actually went to do a traditional MOC, love how calm you are in a crunch and it worked out well. I really hope conventions come back in California. I might go to Brickcon next year if it's still going on.

    • @ThePlasticArchitect
      @ThePlasticArchitect  ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately I tend to work the best in a scenario like that! Conventions are great - wish we had more in California too!

    I’m so glad I could see this in person! I like the idea of the ladder floor and I would say go for an office in the top floor! Great video!

      Yeah - I’m leaning towards office too! Glad you like it!

    I love this series. I'm always excited to see what new building you're going to add. I feel like the roads and sidewalks needs to be shrunk. They seem huge compared to the buildings.

    • @ThePlasticArchitect

      I think you are right ! We just moved and I’m rethinking the roads already !

    The sardine factory boss should proactively add a fire escape. Those little fish are known to be highly flammable.

  • @Timmaster600

    cool idea with the Lego fish factory :) should be an own set/modular building too there :)

    Great moc & video! I would totally add this to my shelf city. It would fit like a glove with the 16x16 system.

    I think it’s awesome that you’re doing your own Mocs! Whatever inspires you for your tiny city, I say go for it!
    (…still would love to see the diner one day or perhaps the fire brigade would be neat)

    I love that scale. Is funny cuz I bought that set for the cats,sign but yeah. Not everything needs to be a wallet breaking monstrosity. Great work on the sardine factory!

    I attended BricksCascade in Portland, Oregon for the first time last year, and made a rookie mistake--bringing too many things to display! In the future, I'll bring just one large MOC and one small MOC.

    • @ThePlasticArchitect
      @ThePlasticArchitect  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah i feel like sometimes less is more with these things. congrats on displaying though!

  • @chumley307
    @chumley307 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great MOC, looks like those buildings are really packed into your city like sardines 😂 how about a mini fire station next

    • @ThePlasticArchitect
      @ThePlasticArchitect  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lol. I have kept the parts from a 4+ fire station set that I intend to make into a 16x16!
