Hi David, im an old Chromatic player, since 1960! Toots Thieleman is my leading star, have heard him live at least 5 times in Sweden during the last 25 years, to bad hes gone but his music lives on YTube. Saw your great video on airtightness, how to do. So this day, just now I polish of my old Hohner Super Chromonica 12. It was leaking so I lost air everytime I playd, ha ha! Have sanded down wood inletpart and also under mouthpiece, and as you sad, 30% more air coming throw in music playing. I was going to bye a new instrument but now i will keep on this harmonica, tnx to You, Thank You David! Im also a trumpet jazz man, just amateur and som clarinet and alto saxophone, trumpet is main playing since 1950. Golf in summer up in Sweden is very nice, keep clubs and harps swinging so to speak! Willol read more of your tips, do you play aný Hohners? See You ///Johnny D Bergh
@@mastersofharmonica6200 // OK! Do you play always in C Instrumnets? I like most play G in all my playing. I have a Hohner super 64 in C, not my likings would like it be in G. Jazz song fits like hand &Glove in my playing, strange it is, but so it is! Not easy play written music on YT, so most I play improvisation over jazz chords or old trad song, free music. YT can hit playing wrong music hard!
Most of my harps are in C tuning, often orchestral tuning, but i do have one Psardo Special in Bb. I used to play G diatonics. Overall, I'll take the C tuning
@@mastersofharmonica6200 //Most players use C tuned in Crom.playing I see. Ask once after bought a LP from Thilemans after a concert, ask him and he playd C all the time also. Im very interested to test a Chrom in Bb, could prob be suit in jazz tunes? Just today I rec tune Summertime with C chrom, and one version in G chrom. T o afraid to send it out on YTube, think they would banne me for Coppywr. infr! Nice to hear from You, I live in Sweden, cant guess your destination, USA or Britn? /// Nice to have contact in these matters! //Johnny D Bergh

Good for you!
I played Hohner 280C when starting on the instrument 5 years ago. These days I play customized Psardo Elite.
