This anime is just like Akame ga Kill T_T so heartbreaking to know. I've done the manga and I can't seem to process everything :3

nope, it was a full plan actually a good one to trap all demon slayers after killing Ubuyashiki. Nakime’s been locating all the DS’s for so long, not just searching for Nezuko. That was Muzan’s plan. However, Ubuyashiki played uno-reverse. Also, it’s not a stupid plan because if all DS’s trapped inside Infinity castle without Tamayo’s help slowing down Muzan and Ubuyashiki’s son and daughters mapping the infinity castle with crows, it would be the end of DS troops, because no f-ing way all Demon slayers can get to Muzan meanwhile fighting with Upper moons. Even if they do get close to Muzan, Muzan with his full power, it would be a disaster for DS’s. Without Tamayo’s research and Shinobu’s help to Tamayo, they would be doomed. Even with all the help, 80% of demon slayers died in the fight including Hashiras.
