Spent 15+minutes hitting this guy with explosive shotgun rounds. He went down several times, then right back up. Finally missled him which finished him. So you disable him with assault shotgun. Mechanics of this seems a bit off to me.
He has explosive armor and the way you complete the mission is by knockout NPC enemies, not killing them. The first time I played, I also accidentally killed the target and realized that's not how the mission works, you can still get about 1/4 of the money if the target is dead. @141_STAR_LORD I know. Most of them I can disable. But this one with the ballistic equipment has different mechanics. Repeated shots from explosive shotgun seems like it should have worked and he went down multiple times so I stopped. And up he popped again. I finally just had enough and finished him off intentionally. Will try assault shotgun next time this one comes up. This video was very informative.
