Big lawyer members so they know how to skirt around the law and jab at everyone's nerves until someone snaps then lawsuit. People getting numb to their jabs and stop caring about what they're doing. Social isolation as punishment for disobeying their rules. And they're located in my state's capital. You don't need to be in the middle of nowhere to be in a cult. How about Primal where the main character somehow had prophetic visions by drinking eyeballs and animal blood and somehow was able to tame creatures that would kill anyone else in seconds. This game has a drug that basically gives one of the people mental powers it almost seems like. Also you know the magical ability to revive a cougar, bear or dog that just took .50 caliber rounds. In no way was this game making fun of the people of Montana. It is taking a jab at crazy religious cults but really, who cares about them? Let Jesse and his audience enjoy it. If you dislike the game and what Ubisoft has done then don't watch it.
The giant statue already establishes that suspension of disbelief is going to be really important here (although that's true with all the Far Cry games, its always bonkers city lol)

I still know little of the story tho, maybe the game has a better explanation.

I think it has more to do with America's current political environment and not really America itself. Unfortunately people can't see past Right vs Left and appreciate a good game. Another thing people don't seem to be understanding, because again politics rule all, is that these religious doomsday cults have existed in American history for a long time. I think that the premise of this game is really interesting. Obviously there is a problem with why the government is not intervening etc but I don't think dealing with that question is at all the point of the game. You are in USA there is a cult that has gained power, government isn't here to help and now you have to deal with it. It is kind of like what has been happening in Syria, but it doesn't feel as alien because the culture is more familiar. Obviously this is not a situation likely to actually happen. The enemies seem as useful as brain dead suicide commandos though. Yes maybe they are supposed to be high in all kinds of stuff but you are pretty much just piling skulls to the skull throne. It seems as challenging as picking daisies during summer.

I usually enjoy ubisoft games as a "turn off your brain and watch a movie on the second screen" sort of way, but I'm genuinely enjoying this one, would totally recommand this full price.

I knew it... once they said you weren't going to be liberating towers to get map access you gave up on the game :(
1:29:34 I think the shirt is a play on the Che shirts that you see around. Many people liked Vaas and didn't like that you killed him so soon in the game, also he does exist in this world and maybe people of the game know about him. Also it is possible that some of the shirts have little to no Canon of this game.
I've already played through this part. Jesse and I almost made the same character. I'm still going to watch a pro play this though.
