Thanks Triton really appreciate it. The first module of MD-101 is already out on the channel. To be honest with you, I had no intention to make the MD-101 and it wasn't even an idea but purely just because how much how some of subscribers have asked, I started making it haha. Apologies if the eps get released a bit slow. The wife sprained her ankle and I have to do a lot more around the house until she is healed so it leaves me with less time to do eps for you guys until she is healed up.
Hot Dog. My company is paying for me to take MD-101 training as we're switching to Intune/AutoPilot so I felt I should probably knock out MD-100 on my own time to get that basic "Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate" certification. Thank you for putting this together! Playing it back at 1.75x to cram all of this in between doing tasks at work right now while taking all the notes I can.
Giving this comment only after watching 3 min intro of your video, and I can say that it's gonna be a wonderful session until the end Thanks for uploading this valuable content on TH-cam.
Really awesome to hear you enjoy it. Best of luck with your MD-100 if you're going to write the exam for it. I will start uploading videos for MD-101 shortly. Just takes forever to edit those videos between work and all that. That official course only consists of 9 modules but I'll do the same thing with the MD-101 as I did with MD-100, I'll make a dedicated video for each module so there will be 9 videos total for that course excluding the short course intro video for it
Thank you so much for making and offering this tutorial for free. Although md-100 will become obsolete this year it is still very useful for learning the fundamentals of Windows.
Your most welcome Yeah luckily 1 + 1 will always = 2 so the concepts and all that will stay the same. Microsoft will just be slapping a new label onto it and re-arranging some stuff but a lot of the stuff on this course will still be relevant. I will be doing the MD-102 course too though once it's released to help those that want to do that one later
About Windows automatic updates, here's my tip, I have a computer at home on which I do not want automatic updates as it has a live service running 24/7. I have a task running which disables the Windows Update service every hour with just a powershell command, job done.
first of all, thanks a lot for this playlist, it is amazing. as a Sales engineer for Microsoft products I just want to mention something related to the Windows clients availability. all Windows editions except the IoT are available through the CSP&ESD programs "through partners" as well. not only through Volume Licensing. and sheesburger& hotdog 😁😁
Hello Sir. I am studying for the MD-100 exam. The previous cert 70-698 is no good anymore. I have had experience installing windows 10 different versions (home, pro, enterprise). Scanstate and loadstate saved me headaches as I had multiple users log in to one computer. Planning on taking the exam next month (August 2023) Thank you. And Cheeseburger
Cheeseburger Edit: I'm currently preparing for the exam too, and I'm also enjoying the presentation of the content (as it is not overloaded with words in your slides) compared to the courses offered by others. Thanks!
Sometimes less is more haha. In the end the idea is to actually understand the stuff without getting bored to death but also keep you engaged and to show you how it's actually done
hotdog. Currently studying for the CompTIA Security+, thought it would be ideal to also learn more about Windows. I'm planning to watch your MD-100 videos then go to your MD-102 videos (as you advised in your MD-102 intro video). Thanks!
@@BurningIceTech If by "mission accomplished", you mean accurate, thoughtful, and real-world example - mixed with straight-up tech, job well done. I look forward to viewing more of your stuff. Moreso, I love the humor.
@@robinpack9623 Well we can't be all serious all the time, that would be boring I think :P glad to have a fun. Makes it more worth the while to make the content for you guys
Thank you for this course, since my company wants me to have the MD-102 certification I started here as you suggested. However saying, that W11 is much more secure because it requieres a TPM 2.0 module is nonsense. As far as I know the only software which needs the TPM is still bitlocker in W11. You can even patch out the TPM check of W11 installer and no other features are sacrificed. So the TPM requierment as it stands right now is only arbitrary.
Cheese Burger! I wish if the video had more information about certain things like how those images are created what the usmt tool looks like so we can have better understanding of those things. Thank you so much for your time and effort, this has been very informative for me.
Pepperoni Pizza with extra cheese😍 I have just started to watch the video as I am planning to write the exam soon. So far video is good and well explained. Looking forward to more learning and clearing the exam. Now I have a question, after an upgrade client has 50 days to go back, what if he went back in 10 and change his mind and few days later he wants to switch. Can he still upgrade and will he have 50 days time again ?
First I want to thank you for what you are doing, so thank you! Second, I was browsing through the MD-100 course path on the microsoft website and it seemed to be changed to Microsoft 365, but I was not able to find the Client Editions overview, do you happen to know if the exam has been changed in the last months?
Cheeseburger... Am surprised by how much different this is from TestOut Client Pro. Maybe because it teaches multiple certs simultaneously (certainly FEELS like twice as much material as there should be for MD-102, even considering the fact that it also teaches the material in this MD-100 course). Anyway, appreciate this more streamlined approach of just one cert being prepped for at a time.

Since Jan 2022 though the course has been changed by Microsoft.
