Best non-single from the album. The rock influence on these tracks really elevates them to a new level, and I love the pre-choruses in this song ("all the days that pass me by") as much as the drops since the transition from that 2000s-rock style to the powerful synths works so well. First drop hits hard as fuck courtesy of Blanke and the second one is so triumphant and full of life. The vocals are also excellent, I didn't expect Bipolar Sunshine to go so well with this kind of song but it really works.
Those Blanke section killed it for me, unfortunately. It's that "standard midtempo drop" section.

@@BatmanHQYT What I wanted: a story driven version of Gorgeous, like Dabin's take on of Afterlife, where it's an actual journey, than this midtempo section only and nothing else. If you wanna go there, at least be like the Sam Lamar remix of Pray or for Midtempo style, be like Hunter Sigel's remix of One By One, where it's mature and fits this song for me. Point is, I'm a fan of shit like this because it's not overdone and unique.
Blanke offside midtempo stuff has been interesting with that said.

I think the point of this song isn't, as many believe, about someone gorgeous, but about the experience of "waking up" from a time of difficulty into freedom, and recognizing how gorgeous the feeling of freedom can be after overcoming bad or meaningless times.

There's not a whole lot of music producers out there, that I can say that I like almost every single song they release, but Illenium is one of the very few on my list where I can say that. Illenium is the man, hands down! Great work once again.

I shared the same thoughts! I thought this song was about coming out of a state of depression. Saying that it feels like freedom and it's gorgeous. And the lyrics "they say you need the dark to shine" kinda points it out a little bit. And then "I can't believe I'm still alive" is a statement of overcoming depression and suicidal ideations. Just my thoughts :) glad you've recovered and are still with us! 💕

I love the way Illenium and Blanke worked together. The song has variation, the dubstep drop, then the future bass drop. Like :o (The only way I could put it.)
This is the best one on the album in my opinion. Excluding the ones that were already released before.

Not underrated. Not only does he headline top festivals but his tour is selling out stadium venues. That's hard to do for electronic artists because they're selling actual seats not just floor tickets

Dunno how this one of the less popular tracks off the album. It's so lovely, prob my favorite. Then the transition into the Angel Prelude, into Lonely is just so... gorgeous. 🔥 Some of the best closing tracks ever to an album. Illenium is an absolute master at his craft.
